Captain Dave is the best. Full of regional island history and information Dave really enhances each of our taxi trips with so much interesting. Dave is eager to make every trip as comfortable and satisfying as he can. Personalized service regardless of what island direction your going. We used his taxi service a number of times now. Most often to Cayo Costa when wanting to go to locations other than the main pier. Cabbage Key is huge for many. Captiva and Boca Grand are easy taxi for Dave as well Easy access to the dock. Dave was so hospitable and friendly! He got us to Cayo Costa island fast and safely. We were just having so much fun talking to him on the boat that it felt like just hanging out with old friends. Would def recommend his service to everyone I know who is going out there. His prices are fair and parking was free! Thanks Dave!!

So much fun! Captain Dave is very knowledgeable and made the trip really fun. We even saw dolphins (one came up to the boat!!!) and a Manatee! Captain Dave and his family are from the area so he knows where all kinds of little hidden gems are. It was a great trip. We will definitely be back and call Captain Dave to be our guide everytime!

Stop right here, your search is over for the best water taxi service in the barrier islands! Captain Dave made our trip out to Cayo Costa State Park one to remember. Not only is he an exceptional navigator in these tricky waterways, but he shared lots of great info on the area and took us to some cool places. Captain Dave is professional , personable and truly loves the area. My wife and I did a 10AM Friday trip out to beautiful Cabbage Key. Dave took the time to take us to smaller islands both on the way and on the return and shared multiple great historical tidbits. We saw dolphins but in March were a little early for the manatees. Nice Clean boat, priced reasonable and we couldn't have been happier with the personal attention. So glad we found him and he was available. What a great day we just spent on Cayo Costa thanks to the Bokeelia Water Taxi! Captain Dave and his Island Hopper Boat was just what my husband and I needed after months of renovating our home. Dave took us on his Historical Bokeelia tour and then on to Cayo Costa State Park. His knowledge of the area, the preserves and the water ways was quite remarkable. His boat, the Island Hopper, was really clean, comfortable and easy to access at the Manu Lani Inn on Bocilla Lane in Bokeelia. His piloting was the smoothest boat tour we have ever taken! He was very attentive to keeping the boat ride smooth and was mindful of the wake. I have neck issues and was really impressed with how even keeled the ride was. When we arrived at the park, Dave set us up beautifully to enjoy a full-day at the beach. We spent many hours on the beach, shelling, swimming, walking and just relaxing. When the time was right to launch back, we had a fairly quick ride back to where our car was parked at the Inn, which by the way is a lovely "Old Florida" inn with a laid back vibe on Pirates Cove in Bokeelia. It seems it is quite popular with serious fisherman. All in All, I highly recommend Bokeelia Water Taxi!!!
