Fantastic experience planning my trip using Bluewater Travel. My trip advisor, Jamie Smith, was wonderful helping me with suggestions as this was my first solo diving trip. I had to reschedule the trip due to a serious family health crisis and Jamie handled everything for me. Jamie is professional, patient and compassionate.
The Cayman Brac Resort was the perfect place for diving, relaxing, excellent food and fun. The dive shop is on site and the staff are wonderful. Concierge diving, which means they do everything for you.
I am already looking for my next trip with Bluewater Travel.

I booked my travels and diving with Jasmine at Bluewater Travels. Before we traveled the National carrier Vanuatu Air went into administration. Jasmine was on it and ensured our trip went ahead without loss of airfares.
On to the trip. We arrived to be met and transferred to our accommodation. Irririki resort was excellent and the food there was excellent.
Then the dive company was well organised and looked after us brilliantly taking us on stunning dives. This is how our trip of travel and diving continued. The trip was flawless.
We kept saying how lucky we were to be in such a lovely place with everything so well organised.
To say Vanuatu runs on Tropics time and is not well organised is an understatement. Our experience was one of absolute precision timing.
The dive sites were each stunning and amazing too.

We have used Bluewater Dive Travel for several of our scuba trips. I have been especially happy with Jessie, our current agent, as she is prompt to reply and thorough with providing information to us until we've reached a decision and helping to make special arrangements like celebrations and large tanks for my husband.

On our recent trip to Fiji, Jessie made a point of emailing me to wish me happy birthday, and had actually heard from the resort that my husband had experienced a medical issue that required us to spend the day seeking medical care to diagnose the issue. Jessie went above and beyond - from checking in on us several times to see how things were going to ensuring that we got the proper documentation needed after we returned in order to submit the claim to our travel insurance. Jessie has been a real gem.

We have a photo workshop to the Sea of Cortez in August 2025 booked with the company and have already booked our 2026 trip to the Philippines with Jessie. We will 100% continue to use her and Bluewater for our future diving trips.

*A note to Bluewater - As someone who used to work in travel, I believe that it's important to know that if you reach out to your agent or the group trip department, you'll get a timely response. Should the agent be traveling, an "out of office reply" with how to contact someone else in the company when you have questions would be extremely helpful. This is just general feedback to the company to consider and not reflective of my experience with Jessie.

For our ScubaSpa trip to the Maldives I worked with Jesse Hug of Bluewater Travel. She helped me navigate all the trip options, provided helpful insight/advice, provided great lodging/resort recommendations, answered questions/getting information when I needed it, and ensured our trip went without a hitch. She was very easy to work with and I enjoyed working with her to plan our trip.

We had a fantastic time on the ScubaSpa Yin. My wife was worried about the potential of too many divers on the boat. Well, we lucked out because the week we were on board there were only 9 other passengers. So the dhoni, dive site, and the rest of the boat wasn’t crowded at all. We stayed in the Manta suite which was the biggest room we’ve ever had on a liveaboard. It had a king bed and a big, big window so we had a wonderful view. Food was really very good and varied and was much better than other liveaboards we've been on. Diving wise, the dive masters/guides were excellent. Our guide really spent a lot of time helping my wife with various issues and making her feel comfortable with the currents. I thought the diving was better in Raja Ampat (e.g., more schools of fish, better vis, more colorful) but diving in the Maldives was a close second or third in what we’ve experienced. We saw lots of turtles, moray eels, several giant mantas rays but unfortunately no whale shark (so far we’re 0 for 3. I guess we’ll need to try again on another dive trip!). My wife loved the massages and the crew was great! Overall, ScubaSpa Yin exceeded our expectations and we both thought it was the best liveaboard we’ve been on. I highly recommend it to anyone diving the Maldives.

Two couples shared the Senja traditional yacht for 8 days in Raja Ampat. I can honestly say that the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The crew were friendly, extremely capable and worked very hard to accommodate all of our needs and wishes.
The food was varied and delicious. The chef was very true to the style of food we had requested. The service was relaxed and friendly.
Our group was interested in more than just diving, in fact we had requested snorkeling only, but ended up with a combination of snorkeling and diving. The reefs were beyond exceptional with the kind of insane variety of corals and fishes that was beyond our high expectations. The highlight for me was snorkeling with 6-7 manta rays while they were being “cleaned” by small reef fish while hovering above corals in the current.
Beyond the diving we had many other experiences like hiking to the top of a ridge at sunrise to watch birds of paradise displaying high in the tree tops. We also had a short hike to the blue river for a morning swim and visited and toured a lovely pearl farm with the most engaging Aussie manager.
The entire trip was organized and curated by the boat’s guide Darmin. I can’t say enough about his skill and demeanor at arranging all the activities and keeping crew and guests on track. He, along with Roger, were master dive instructors who led us on spectacular dive and snorkel trips. And we quickly became accustomed to being greeted by the entire crew upon returning to Senja with a cold juice and towel with warm smiles by all.
The pace and variety of our trip was exactly how we had hoped, with plenty of time for relaxation, extra swimming, evening cocktails and relaxed dining.
We couldn’t have been happier with the entire adventure. Laura at Bluewater did an excellent job of assisting us with every step of the process, from describing the trip to recommending logistics to food and itinerary preferences. She was patient and thorough with our many questions.
Overall it was a trip of a lifetime experience for seasoned travelers who have extensive travel experience. I couldn’t recommend it any higher.
