I have to give a shout out to Lori, who was absolutely amazing! We booked the ball room for my sons wedding reception. She went above and beyond making sure everything was done that needed to be done. If she said she was going to do it, she did! I would highly recommend this facility and going through Lori for your event. I was beyond impressed! Thank you Lori, for providing us with a wonderful experience!

Stayed here four nights on a bus trip. Beautiful setting. Great beach chairs and bar. The pool looked great. Wonderful food, clean and comfortable room accommodations. The staff was extremely courteous. I would have liked better lighting around the mirrors in our room. Also we couldn't sit out on our deck, which was very rickety and although could be accessed by four rooms, there was only one chair that I saw so we couldn't sit out there. I hope I am able to stay here again.

We have been going to the Riviera for years but wanted to change as my grandkids are getting older. I saw that Blue Water had newly renovated rooms with bunk beds which would be great for my grandchildren. When we got there I was very disappointed. The room had no table or any type of counter space to put things out on. Also there was no dresser or space to put clothes in. We were 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children and they have a wine cooker instead of a fridge, which didn’t even work. |After numerous talks with the front desk, a very nice employee got the wine cooler working for the kids drinks, got a table from someplace (no chairs) to at least use as a counter/place for the kids to eat since we didn’t go out for all meals and they had snacks, too. I couldn’t stand the thought of our suitcases being on the floor so I convinced him to get us some luggage racks - we only got 2 for 4 suitcases. Also, knowing there were 4 people in the room, we only received 2 clean towels! |My son had the newly renovated king and queen room which was beautiful! Too bad they didn’t do the same for the bunk bed rooms.

We were 4 friends staying in the 2 bdrm 2 bath suite. It had everything you need with a full kitchen. Very comfortable master bdrm with its own full bath. Little outdoor area with table and chairs. All resort rooms were recently renovated and I was pleasantly surprised. Beach is beautiful and they set up chairs and umbrellas for you. There’s a nice outdoor grill for food and drinks by the outdoor pool. Resort seemed pretty empty as we were there after Labor Day but have stayed in the summer and is very busy. They were renovating the indoor dining room when we were there.

Great location on the beach with spectacular views! The newly renovated rooms were very clean and comfortable. And the staff was friendly and accommodating. This is a great place for family, friends or couples to get away and relax! We will definitely be back!

Review of the Blue Water Resort, South Yarmouth, MA on September 11-13, 2024||We regularly go to Cape Cod and have our favorite places to stay. This trip we thought we’d try someplace we had never stayed at before since the weather looked great and the Blue Water Resort was right on the beach.||When I booked the reservation I told the agent that this was our first visit there and how well this went would determine whether we book there again in the future. So the resort knew this was a test and that they had an opportunity to gain a repeat returning customer if we were treated well, but instead they lost a potential repeat customer||Wow, what a disappointment our stay there was. Admittedly we did need to request a 1st floor room as we are somewhat mobility limited and upper floors and stairs are an issue for us. They booked us into what has to be the worst room in the resort. We did not expect an ocean view room but we also did not expect a view from our room of two air conditioners and a parking lot. I returned to the office to try and get moved to another room but as I have seen other reviewers say, the front desk ultimately said that they didn’t have another room that they could move us into so we ended up staying in #117. At close to $200 a night, off-season in September, I was extremely unhappy about our accommodation. But, there were also other issues which we were not happy about including:|>Our 1st floor room actually had 5 or 6 steps which we had to go up in order to get to the floor our room was actually located on.|>We had booked a room with a King sized bed but the room we got had two Queen sized beds. |>There was only one “tiny” trash can located in the bathroom. I called the front desk and was told “yes that’s all you get for trash cans”.|>There was no clock at all on the nightstand nor in the room.|>The chairs for the small table in the room were extremely uncomfortable to sit in.|>Neither of us slept well at all either of the 2 nights there. Both mattresses were, I’ll call it, “extremely firm” or hard and just weren’t comfortable.|>The “in-room” coffee was TERRIBLE. The powered coffee creamer packs were so old that they were hard as a rock and not useable.|>The 1st floor ice maker was “Out of Order” and I had to go up to the icemaker on the 2nd floor to get ice. ||I attempted to contact the Red Jacket Resorts General Manager but it was clear that as a customer there was no access to talking to her as I got transferred elsewhere on the phone when calling her number. When departing I notified the front desk staff and the Assistant General Manager of how unhappy we were with our stay there and of the fact that because of how we were treated we would never book into there ever again.||To top it all off, when asked via email to review the resort I was honest and listed most of what I listed above. The reply I got, from the General Manager, was, in my opinion, nonchalant and cavalier and condescending. It included the statement “Maybe a return visit could turn this experience into something more positive.” This without offering any type of possible incentive should we decide to try there again. But, it wouldn’t matter because I wouldn’t trust them again anyway. ||We Will Never Book Into any of the Red Jacket owned resorts including The Blue Water Resort, nor the Riviera, nor the Red Jacket Ever Again.

Recommend having a car unless you don't plan on seeing anything or going anywhere. Nothing directly around.

My wife booked our stay and place a "deposit" in April 2024. Our reservation where for 9/16/24 to 9/20/2024. I called Blue Water Resort on 9/9/2024 to check on our reservations. The front desk stated that the reservations were cancelled. I asked why and they couldn't tell me why. So now issued me a new confirmation number. We show up on 9/16/2024 and the room wasn't ready. Understandable. Later the front deck issues us our room. One bedroom suite with kitchen plus a pull out coach. We bring our suit cases into to structure, empty them out and make plans for diner. After returning from diner, we notice that we didn't have enough towels for four people. A call to the front deck and we receive our towels. As we're walking around in the suite, we notice plenty of sand on the floors. Now its time for bed and we pull out the couch for the first time for my daughter and granddaughter. We notice the comforter has stains on it plus HOT CHICKEN WING SAUCE on it. Time to call the front desk. The front desk's answer was, we can't exchange any linen until tomorrow. NICE. So my daughter and granddaughter had to sleep on a sheet with two pillows until the next day. Everyday after that was the same. Incomplete towel sets and plenty of sand on the floors, for the rest of our stay. One day my family went shopping plus I stayed outside near my deck and read a book. Maid service showed and asked if they could service our room. I said sure and watch the operation. When they said they were done, I reviewed the process. Again, missing towel sets and I watched as the person used a broom to sweep the sand on the floor from room to room. I explained the I required an additional towel set. They left and came back with small bottled of shampoo and conditioner. I said thank you. I also asked if Blue Water Resort had a vacuum I could use? My granddaughter on our third day stated, that we had just as much sand on our floors as the beach we visited daily. I was adjacent to the pool one day and asked a staff member if there was a restroom near by. He's reply was " You might try "THE SKIPPER" restaurant. My reply, no a restroom. His reply. I'm sure the poolside bar can make you some thing to eat. This is the third year we've stayed here, hoping it would get better. We were wrong. For a four night stay and a grand total of $1712.50, I won't allow my family to be treated this way again. GOOD BY.
