Did I have a blast? Yes, I did! We made it to the Observation Deck just before quitting time. It's fascinating to see how all of the machines and humans work together to deliver me a delicious ice cream flavor 😋. Of course, we visited the gift shop for key chains and more. Then we went over for a scoop of ice cream. There are so many flavors to choose from. You have to get at least 2 scoops. At a $1 per scoop, you can try a few, but I only had room for 2 scoops. They were creamy and delicious. It was well worth the drive.

Ah yeah, Blue Bell. An easy self guided tour that begins in the Visitors Center. Lots of memorabilia throughout along with storyboards. Free leaflet to assist with tour and ice cream hat(s).

The next building has a Texas High School coaches Baseball museum. Plenty of pictures to enjoy.

The second floor is where the observation deck is located. (No photos allowed) You're able to view the entire production floor; ice cream being made, filling of the famous ice cream tubs, packing and shipping.

Souvenir shop has a wide variety of merchandise.

There's an ice cream shop where you can purchase 1$ scoop in a cup of your favorite Blue Bell ice cream flavor. Surprisingly, there’s a handful of special Blue Bell ice cream available only at HQ. Selected Coconut and Black Cherry.

Be sure and enjoy the grounds; sculptures gardens, little free library.

Great experience for kids to tell their friends they got to see how ice cream is packaged! Observation deck was a great experience especially when the workers stopped what they were doing and waved at everybody! Ice cream is only a $1, so you can really try a lot of different kinds of ice cream that they offer

There’s a visitors center where you learn about the history of Blue Bell. There’s no tours but there is an observation deck where you can see the ice cream production line in action. Pretty neat to see. There’s a gift shop and an ice cream parlor where each scoop is $1. Some flavors are the usual ones but they also have unique in parlor only flavors. Strawberry cheesecake was good.

It was an awesome experience. Just a road trip away. It was nice to visit during Spring break. For just $1 each scoop, you taste as many flavors as you like.

A fun attraction to stop by if you can during their hours of operations. The factory itself doesn’t have much open to visitors, but they have a fun museum area and you cannot beat the ice cream shop that still has $1 scoops!

First time there. I knew they did not do tours, and they only had an observation deck. It would have been very useful if they had some flyers on the wall that explained what we were looking at from the observation deck.
