Highly recommend Blown Away Airboats. We had a great trip! Captain John was our tour guide and very knowledgeable of the area! Extra bonuses for our trip - we saw a bull shark, manatee, eagles nest, and the best a large pod of dolphins, we counted approximately 15 dolphins. It was an amazing day on the water! There were 4 of us, ages 24 to 71 and hands down a great way to spend our 4th of July!

Had a wonderful time on the Sunset Cruise, Wednesday night.. Captain John was very knowledgeable about the area, gave us a lot of info and got us close to see wildlife and the beauty of the area. Lots of playful dolphins swimming alongside the boat and we even saw a Manatee. He made sure that we were able to take all the pix we wanted. Next trip to Crystal River, thinking I'd like to try the early morning cruise. THANKS CAPTAIN JOHN!!! 🙂

My family came to Florida from New Hampshire, and we had the most amazing trip with Capt John. The day was overcast and chilly, but as soon as we arrived, we were greeted with excitement! The tour itself was informative and beautiful. We got to see two bottlenose dolphins, hear Johns extensive history of his time in this business and unique history of the location of Crystal River. Overall, it was an amazing trip on a not-so-amazing day and worth every penny.

We saw all the good stuff! Bald eagles and their nest. Dolphins racing the boat and Indian burial mounds. It was a great trip!

This ride was different than other rides we have taken by airboat. We didn't see a huge amount of wild life, but we saw dolphins right by the boat. It was truly incredible. The boat captain told us some funny stories, and you see different parts of the water systems as well as some history. Definitely worth it.

I live in upstate New York, came down for a little vaca. This has been on my bucket list and it did not disappoint! Tour guide was very informative, personable and can drive the hell out of an airboat! Felt extremely safe bringing the little ones. Beautiful views and we even saw dolphins playing in the waves and chasing us on our journey! Highly recommend!
