What a hunt!! Our trip did not disappoint. The ducks did not want to cooperate at first but that did not stop the guys from getting us on them. They put incredible work into what they do and it paid off. We finished up with full straps and big smiles. We had an incredible goose hunt in there also. Food and hospitality were fantastic. We will most definitely be talking about this trip until we come back again. Thank you Damon and PaPa !!!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience with our private lodging area; coming in from a blind and being warm welcomed by all the lovely ladies in the kitchen with freshly prepared biscuits and gravy two deer sausage and eggs. Jayden was great all of the guides there are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the different blinds we went to. Would absolutely recommend any day of the week! Very family friendly! Howard you rock thanks for being so accommodating and flexible! We will definitely be back!

Lodge and food are excellent however that is the end of my compliments. Our guide took a puppy on her first hunt and she was far from ready. She didn’t know the basic command of here. The guide then proceeded to beat the pup and after the two of them scarred every duck in the marsh away he drug her to the vehicle. We also booked an afternoon goose hunt that resulted in sitting on the side of the road and driving around looking for the guide for 2 plus hours. We finally got to the pit with one hour and half left to have a terrible 2 dozen silhouette only spread. Pit was so packed with duck decoys one person could not get in and had to lay beside pit on marshy ground. Everything about the hunt was terrible considering in the area we saw more waterfowl than we have ever seen before in our lifetimes. If you want a hunt of your dreams go somewhere else.

This is one of the finest lodges I have had the opportunity to visit. Plenty of birds good Company and awesome food. Bring plenty shells because ur gonna need them. Dont worry because MPW is just down the road.

Damien salters the owner of the blazing guns one of them is a great man has excellent servicing for duck hunting guides all through the season, all about the hunt, does all he can do for his customers, great place for all hunters.
