We went for a quick little last minute weekend trip. Enjoyed the town of Blanco. Most of all I enjoyed the honesty, and the integrity of the staff at the Blanco Riverside Getaways. My wife accidentally left her purse in the room. Promptly upon their discovery, I was contacted and made arrangements to collect her purse. Nothing was missing, and my wife and I are eternally grateful for the way the staff handled the situation. This experience has left a lasting impression on us. Not only we're the rooms spacious and nicely decorated. Honesty and integrity stood out, and that made a difference. I will gladly book a room here again. Thank you Blanco Riverside Getaway. We were there for a wedding in Dripping Springs. The Cottage was very nice and comfortable to stay in. Very clean, beds were comfortable and so was the bathroom. Had plenty of towels for the 2 of us. And even had silverware and plates, if you need more than just plastic. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area and in need of accommodations.

We visited the area to visit family and attend a Friday Night Smithson Valley H.S. Football game! Our cottage across from the Blanco River State Park was ideal. Clean furnishings and we had everything we needed. Enjoyed walking the park trails and scenic views. Also very close to town. Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and I rented the coral cottage for two days. We enjoyed the location and the comfort of the cabin. Sadly, the town had a water main break and we did not get to dine at all of the places we had hoped. We adapted and were able to use the small kitchen to make a few meals. All in all we enjoyed our stay and we hope to be back

This was our 4th visit. We will definitely return. The owner is very responsive to questions. Always clean and quiet. We love this place! It’s close to the park- we took a walk there every night. Eat at the Bistro next door - it is absolutely delicious!

My wife and I stayed at one of the villas. The room was beautiful and quaint. We loved the restroom layout, and the hot tub was perfect. The bed was super comfortable. The view from the bed was amazing. The villa really made our Christmas Eve even more special. We did not want to leave. We will definitely be coming back.

Booked a two day stay at one the villas. The room was very beautiful and spacious with a really nice view of the river. We were able to have a quiet and long relaxing weekend. However, I am giving it 4-stars as there was food left on the fridge from the previous stay.

PROS:|1. The room was clean|2. The shower head was nice and had lots of power/pressure.|3. The bath towels were nice and thick ||CONS:|1. No where to hang clothes. They need some kind of rod. I draped my clothes over chairs and a drawer.|2. Bathroom door opens backward. If someone is at the sink, the door hits them when it opens. It's really awkward. |3. There are no grab bars around the tub, and the tub is very deep and slick. We put a towel down to stand on in the tub.|4. You have to park behind the cottage and carry your supplies down a hill, and then up stairs into the cottage. The ground is rocky and not level, definitely not for the elderly.|5. Road noise during the night.|6. The little tiny freezer on top of the little frig didn't work at all. There were ice trays in the freezer when we got there, and they still hadn't frozen when we left.||
