We began a search for a private jet charter company when we are looking for a solution to safely and efficiently move our family with pets from Mexico to the US.

Adding complexity to the international move was the potential to fly out of a newly opened airport in Tulum. When we started our inquiry, there was not yet international travel and immigration services set up.

This was also going to represent a large expense for us, so we were hoping there would be some empty leg opportunities for us to utilize to help reduce costs.

We reached out to five different companies - two did not respond and a third was an AI bot endlessly loop. Two were professional, prompt and helpful - one of which was Bitlux.

However, Caio at Bitlux was without a doubt the most prompt and thorough - he reached out to me via three different means (phone, email and text) to assure he was working on our flight. He asked helpful questions and was kind and personable, expressing empathy and understanding of desire to take care of our animals.

But even beyond the much appreciated kindness, Caio really excelled - he was able to find out actionable information from the new Tulum airport, the FBO, and the laws and rules from immigration, customer and the jet owner.

And incredibly, he was able to locate an empty leg flight for us, which saved us at least 1/3 the cost of a normal flight.

He patiently put up with my nervous energy and endless questions, including the days immediately before the flight when he told us he believed we would be the first actual international flight out of Tulum, as the commercial carriers had been delayed. While this was kind of cool, it was also nerve racking and seemed ripe for all kinds of unforseen issues.

As he had done throughout the process, he and his partner Skylar answered all of my questions and provided us with detailed updates such as when the plane departed to meet us, when it arrived, etc.

The advance work they had done with the crew and immigration was evident - it was the smoothest experience I have had at a government facility; everything was ready, in order and there was significant staff ready to assist and answer problems. Just a world class experience. the jet itself was fantastic - beautiful and well equipped - and the captain and his crew were friendly, attentive and extremely professional.

Moving is hard. An international move harder still. Doing both while trying to assure the safety and mental well being of the entire family is very stressful. Being the first to fly internationally out of a new airport? Sort of scary.

Yet it all went perfectly. I am extremely grateful and thankful for Caio, Skylar and my Bitlux experience. Thank you everyone.
