I cannot express how grateful my family and I are for the incredible support provided by Cami. I was initially nervous about bringing essentially a stranger into our home during such a vulnerable time, but from the moment she stepped into our home, her warmth and obvious expertise immediately put us at ease. Her wealth of knowledge and experience in newborn care was evident right away.

As first-time parents, we had no clue what we were doing and felt that Cami helped us to learn how to take care of our newborn. She helped to guide us through the intricacies of breastfeeding and pumping, helped us to establish a solid sleep routine (our 7-week-old is sleeping 6-7 hour stretches!) taught us about methods to relieve baby’s gas, and generally helped support us and our baby both physically and emotionally.

She went above and beyond what was expected, and even cooked us delicious meals (her brownies are amazing!) Her ability to create a peaceful and nurturing environment during the nighttime hours was a game-changer for our family's well-being. With her support, we were able to get the rest we so desperately needed.

Cami truly played an indispensable role in our transition into parenthood. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication went above and beyond our expectations. We absolutely recommend her services to any new parents seeking exceptional support during the precious and challenging postpartum period. Thank you for being a true gift to our family!

Cami was incredible and completely changed our postpartum experience with our second child. She provided overnight postpartum support and was there on our very first night home making sure the entire family was comfortable, fed, hydrated and getting rest. Cami was with us for about 6 weeks and truly made such a difference in our lives. She cared so deeply for our new baby and we always felt she was in great hands with Cami watching her. She was always so thoughtful in her care of all of us (me, my husband, our toddler and our newborn) and made having a newborn a much less overwhelming experience than our first time.

If you have the option, don't hesitate to work with her! You won't regret it! She's also an amazing cook and she works well with challenging pets. We have a very overprotective dog that gets very defensive when new people are in our home and Cami handled him like a pro. She had the perfect demeanor to calm the dog instead of riling him up more, which often happens with new people. We already miss Cami but are thrilled for anyone else that gets to work with her!

Cami was wonderful with our child. We worked with Cami for our second child, and while we were a bit more familiar with parenthood this time around, having Cami’s support allowed me to get more rest to heal from birth and allowed for both my husband and I to be fully rested to be more present for our older child. Her nurturing, empathetic nature and newborn expertise really helped our newborn settle into a sleep/feed schedule early on that made our transition out of Cami’s care as painless as it could be (Of note, our child began sleeping an 8-hour stretch at night around 2 months old). And a bonus was that she was so sweet and kind to our two dogs!

Update- Cami passed away late 2023. RIP Cami!

Kristin’s review below resonated with me entirely! 100% accurate. My wife and I are first-time parents and Cami helped guide us with cheerleading, extra support (sleep! baby laundry! meals!), and new tools needed to be successful in our first month of baby’s arrival — and beyond. Cami’s connection with our baby was instant and reassuring so we could rest peacefully each night. Bonus: she was also an angel with our first baby, our 65lb rescue hound.

As first time parents, my husband and I needed an experienced postpartum doula who could help us navigate life with a newborn. Cami was our invaluable partner over the course of five weeks, patiently showing us the ropes when it came to baby care, bathing, tummy time, and so much more.

Cami has three special qualities that made her a great choice for our family:

1) Connection to Baby: Cami formed an immediate, positive bond with our baby. Our baby responded really well to the way Cami held her, soothed her, and spoke to her. I believe that babies can sense a person’s energy and intent, and I felt at ease knowing our baby was so comfortable being handled and cared for by Cami.

2) Support for Mom: Many doulas view their role as primarily caring for the baby. Cami takes her duties a step further and ensures that Mom is also doing well, mentally and physically. I’m exclusively pumping and Cami assisted in setting up my breast pump and even helped me through some very painful clogged docs during our nighttime massage sessions. I can’t begin to describe how important this support was for me!

3) Passion for the Job: Cami’s passion for being a postpartum doula is obvious. She never tried to rush off in the mornings, but rather left when things with our baby were calm and in a good place. I could tell that the well-being of our baby was always her top priority.

We are so happy to have worked with Cami during that critical first month with our newborn. If you’re looking for a skilled and knowledgeable doula, give Cami a call. If you’re lucky, you might even get to try her famous enchiladas!

Cami helped support us for our first 10 weeks with our little girl, and it was the best decision we could have possibly made. From the first moment she held our baby it was immediately clear that she has a gift with little ones - her calming and relaxing energy was immediately felt, and she helped make what can be a chaotic and stressful period of time a truly enjoyable one. She always went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, taken care of, and most importantly, well rested. I credit Cami with helping me to feel like a human being, rather than a zombie, and am forever grateful. I was able to enjoy my time with my daughter and be a better parent because of how well she took care of us both. One of our biggest stressors when welcoming our daughter into our lives was how our French Bulldog would deal with the introduction of our new family member. Cami made sure the process went smoothly, and coached us through how to make sure our dog would feel included in the process. We were all (Frenchie included!) thrilled for Cami to arrive each night, and were so sad to part ways at the end of our time together. Cami really becomes a part of your family, and continues to make you feel supported, even well after your time together is up. We will miss her so much!

Cami saved us! She is an angel and will forever be part of our family. She was with us from basically the time I brought our premature twin boys home through when they were 5 months old. She even helped me when I was in a bind and needed daytime childcare as we prepared to move. Cami was nurturing and gentle and helped me and my husband as much as she helped our boys. She provided guidance in a comforting and loving way and gave me the confidence I needed to become a mother to two babies at once. I can’t say enough good things about Cami and would recommend her to anyone. And her food is just delicious! She would be a blessing to your life and your home.

The review I want to share about Cami doesn’t deal with the entirety of the 10+ weeks she was with us helping us with our second child, our baby boy Parker, who joined us in March, but instead just one critical week of her time with us. When Parker was just 5 weeks old our entire household came down with symptomatic COVID - I was in and out of the hospital with our 2 year old daughter multiple times. In the midst of that time we thought Parker had avoided being infected (negative test) and Cami offered to watch him at a hotel to get him out of our house with my in-laws, which she ultimately did for three days until he and Cami both tested positive for COVID. Once she was positive Cami continued to work with us, only taking off 3 days to tend to her own illness and was invaluably helpful to our family in our greatest time of need as I was in and out of the hospital with our daughter. I will never forget Cami for what she did for our family - as they say, crisis reveals character.
