Abraham was an excellent surf instructor got our daughter up and catching waves in a single lesson! He was the real MVP as we scheduled a lesson and through a series of unfortunate events the company thought we cancelled. But Abraham to the rescue in less than two hours showed up on New Year’s Day with a cheerful attitude and embraced the opportunity to teach someone to surf, something he is clearly passionate about! 10 stars!

Did a private lesson with Abraham over the weekend and he got me up and running in no time. As a first time surfer my goal was to get up one wave. With Abrahams guidance I was able to get 20-30 easily. Abraham created an easy going environment while consistently pointing out where to improve which ultimately led to a successful lesson.

Incredibly fun, great learning environment, and very much worth the money. No doubt I picked up a whole new sport that I’ll have for a lifetime.

*Bonus: saw 6 dolphins swim 5ft from where we were and a whale in the distance.

Our instructor Kevin was GREAT! He got us properly fit for wetsuits the did a quick dry land tutorial. I really appreciated how quickly we got in water and attempting to catch waves. Kevin was very experienced, knowledgeable, and just a pure joy to chat with. Only negative would be it was very unclear where to meet and we were at the wrong location.

My girlfriend & I went & got a lesson from Abraham over the weekend. It was such a fun, safe & overall wonderful experience. He has SO MUCH experience in the water, his background will put you at ease if you’re a first time learner. His instructing was so smooth & easy to understand it could make the worst student, me, seem competent enough to go out there & feel confident! My partner and I had a great time learning to surf with Abraham.

Abraham took time at the beginning of our lesson to address the things we were nervous about and assure us that we were in good hands.

We also told him that our goal was to catch a wave by the end of our lesson, which we understood was a big goal.

By the end of the lesson we had both caught several waves!

I think it was only possible because of Abrahams patience, great teaching, and incredibly positive attitude.

We owe Abraham big time for an awesome first experience and definitely look forward to our next time out on the waves.

If you’re thinking about booking surf lessons, I couldn’t recommend anyone more than Abraham.
