I recently visited Big Pine Key Bicycle Center and had an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff were cold and unwelcoming. They barely acknowledged me, and when I did ask for help, the responses were curt and dismissive. It felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. All I needed was a helmet. They also shouted at my mother to turn off the bathroom light while she was still in the bathroom. If that’s how they treat locals I would hate to see how they treat visitors.

My mountain bike was run over while parked, breaking the rear wheel rim in half. Brought it to Big Pine Key Bicycle & they repaired/replaced the rim while waited, had us back on the road in less than 30min! Friendly owner & staff, highly recommend.

Wow, saw this place on Google. I wanted a used, single speed bicycle to give me an exercise activity for a three month visit. While I was still looking around the bikes outside the store, Tom came out to see how he could help. He quickly reviewed the available options he had and also showed me a couple of new models. He let me test drive one of the new ones. Then he blew my mind with a crazy deal on the bike and an upgraded saddle at no cost when I got home, I looked up The bike on line, his price was even better than I thought.

Quick friendly service, went beyond my expectations. I was prepared to wait several days to have a flat tire changed, they had it done in a couple hours At a great price! Very surprised at the quality and friendliness of the service! — Southern hospitality once again wins out. Highly recommend.
