Before I even go ride tomorrow. Betty was so nice on the phone and sounds like she cares about your scheduling. Called me after I left a voicemail expecting a call the next day because it was after 6. No, she called me back. That is awesome! I’m excited to post some pictures of the trail ride!

Update after trail ride- Ashley and Spencer were very accommodating and the horses were well mannered. You get to go up and down hills. Experience or novice riders will enjoy!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a six-person trail ride at Betty's Trail Rides near Lake Pleasant celebrating my 8-year-old granddaughter's birthday. I can confidently say it was one of the most enjoyable outdoor adventures my daughter and granddaughters have had, and they both told me after they completed the trail ride that the experience exceeded all their expectations.

Our primary guide was Spencer, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and took the time to share interesting information about the local wildlife, plants, and history as we rode along the scenic trails. Both of our guides exhibited a passion for horseback riding and the outdoors, which was infectious to the rest of our party. We found that the guides loved to go above and beyond to ensure that each rider felt comfortable, safe, and engaged throughout the ride. Their attentive nature and encouragement helped enhance the overall experience, especially for those in our party of six who may have been nervous and new to riding.

**The Ride:**
We chose two one-hour rides scheduled back-to-back for a two-hour trail ride, The ride offered us breathtaking views of the Lake Pleasant surrounding landscape. The trails are all well-maintained and designed to accommodate all types of riders' skill levels, allowing scenic exploration without feeling rushed or challenged. However, we felt the trail system to be optimized for a one-hour ride, rather than the two-hour ride that we had scheduled. There were plenty of opportunities to soak in the scenery and take photos, which made for a very memorable experience overall.

**Environment:**
The setting of the Lake Pleasant area itself adds significantly to the ride's charm. With stunning vistas, diverse flora and cactus, and the soothing sounds of nature, the overall atmosphere was serene and invigorating. The experience felt immersive, making it easy to forget the hustle and bustle of daily life back in town.

This was just as exciting and relaxing as it was the first time I went horseback riding as a kid. The guide will pull over so you can take some photos on your horse and with your group. I recommend getting your tickets via Groupon to save yourself some money.
