It was going through construction which means they are updating which is a good thing. The rooms are nice and they are clean. The staff is exceptional! Lacey checked me in and could not have been sweeter. The morning desk person (didn’t get her name) was also very nice. Autumn, the woman taking great care of the “everything you could want for breakfast” was fabulous. She greeted everyone with a smile, asked if you needed anything and sent you off with a charming“have a nice day”. This Best Western was a great stop after a long day of driving.

The front desk staff member who checked us in was very nice. That is the only good thing I can say. The first room had hair all over and in the sink, so we asked for another. We travel with service dogs, so we had to move them and us and all our stuff to the second floor. That room was as bad or worse. The sink basin is white, so hairs were easily visible. The counter in the bathrooms is granite, so I wiped it, hoping maybe the hairs had just fallen off the cleaning rag or something. MULTIPLE WIPES came up filthy, brown dirt or grime, mixed with hairs and other debris. Every wipe was filthy after being passed over the counter. The toilet seat hadn’t been cleaned either and the towels were basically thrown on the rack,so we had no way of knowing if they were from a previous guest or were fresh. We got in late and having to move rooms and clean made it even later. Before 8 am, housekeeping staff were next to our room, allowing the doors to slam repeatedly, which of course alerted our service dogs. We did not sleep well at all and could barely use the bathroom because of how filthy it was, combined with the ridiculous corner sink and mirror that made it impossible to see directly into either mirror from close up. The entire stay was a nightmare. When I went through Expedia to request a refund, the hotel refused. Expedia gave me a small partial refund in One Key cash, but PLEASE DO NOT STAY at this hotel. You have no idea how filthy. I’ve never been in one this dirty before. I only have a couple of pics because I was too grossed out to take pictures of the wipes before putting them in the trash.

The staff at this very clean, super comfortable hotel was above and beyond. Brandy was at the counter when we arrived and was super helpful and so sweet and kind. She was doing the job of about 3 people. Our TV would not work when we got to our room and of course Brandy came up and knew the problem immediately and fixed it!😊. The morning staff was making and serving pancakes!!! Great overnight stay!❤️❤️

The rooms were nice and clean, but if you are planning to come and stay during this time there are some concerns. They were in the midst of renovating and did not let us know on the phone, and their elevator is out of service. Make sure you do not get a room near the stairwell as the doors are very loud as is the dumpster, which are audible at all hours. During the morning of our stay fire alarms began going on and off intermittently due to doing electric work, which we were not warned about. Breakfast was nice and the front desk people were kind, but if we had known that these things would have happened we would have stayed elsewhere. At this time I wouldn’t recommend bringing your pet until renovations are complete, though they are very pet friendly which is nice.

Laci did a great job. We were walk-ins and she quickly helped us find a room that met our needs and was appropriately sized for our family. Check in was quick and easy. Laci was courteous, helpful and friendly.

The room met our needs, it was clean, was appropriately climatized, and plenty of lighting.

The pullout bed was functional but the couch was stained and ripped in a few places. I would recommend replacing, it was unusually in poorer condition compared to everything else.

Hot breakfast was enjoyable, food tasted well, coffee was hot, juice options were appreciated and dinning room had adequate space.

We’ve stayed here the past few years as a midway point on our trip to Florida and have had no complaints. We originally booked this hotel a couple years ago because it’s right off the highway, has a decent, included breakfast, and was clean. This year will be our last stay. The entire hotel was filthy upon our arrival. It appears there might be renovations going on, but no clean up is happening while things are changing. Trim was pulled off all hallways, and the hall carpets are full of dust and debris-as if they haven’t been vacuumed for days. Walls and door jams of the rooms had dried drips and stains all over-nothing seemed clean. My biggest complaint however was the constant slamming doors throughout the night. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and never had the trouble sleeping that I did last night because of so many doors slamming. You have lots of options for hotels-don’t pick this one.

Very clean and comfortable. The bed was great and a decent size room for such a great price. The breakfast room was well maintained and the hostess was very friendly and helpful. This is a great location, just off I75 in a quiet area. We will use this hotel again when passing through. A great halfway point from Michigan to Florida. The only complaint we had was the coffee, but there is a Dunkin’ Donuts next door which gives you 15% off if you show your room key.

Very clean, comfortable bed and Pet friendly! I especially love Best Western because they don't charge you an arm and a leg Pet Fee! We used our points to get a Free night and so we had to only pay the Pet Fee which was $34.43
The location was great and very safe! Would stay here again!
