My husband and I met Ms. Belinda 3 weeks before our traditional Nigerian Engagement. She came to us as a referal and it was the best thing that could have ever happened to us. I wanted my traditional engagement to look entirely different from the white wedding and thats exactly what she did. She completely transformed the space and made our guests feel like they had gone to Nigeria. She did an absolutely phenomenal job with decorations and even helped to coordinate some things during the actual event. She was extremely committed to giving us a great engagement ceremony and I could not have asked for anything better. I would 1000% recommend her services for any engagement. She has all of the materials and rental items in house which makes her even more convenient and the quality is outstanding.

The best event decorator of all time, she did my daughter’s sweet sixteen recently, the decoration was out of this world, she coordinated all the vendors at the event, carried everyone along, she give you advice on what and how to do it. I will forever use her as my event decorator. I have given her phone number to so many people.

I normally don’t write review even when I have bad experience but this one is beyond I could ever imagine. I had a bridal shower I was hosting on 7/11 and came across this place while searching for event rental. On June 24th, me and one of the bridesmaids went to this store to look at their decors. Belinda seemed nice and told us we can rent any items for the event on 7/11 and was helping us figure out pricing for items we were looking at. The next day, we texted her the items we wanted to rent and if we can it pick up at 8am. She said they don’t open until 10am but since the bridal shower starts at 10am, we asked if they can open earlier and we can come by at 9am. She said ok and we were happy about that! As a reminder, we send her a text on 7/10 to let her know we will pick up the decors tomorrow (7/11) at 9am. On 7/11, when we got there, the store was closed. We called her and she was in boston and thought we were coming at 12pm. Belinda was unapologetic that now we have to scramble to find decors and how she she was in the wrong. She also said “this is not how you do business in boston and that we have no contract and no deposit and I have paying customers in boston”. She never asked for a deposit and we would’ve put a deposit down if she did. We def should’ve asked them to sign a contract thought cause you clearly can’t trust their words. I’ve attached the text receipts that clearly said we will be there at 9am.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve never had an experience like this one. Here are the highlights of my extremely unprofessional experience which ended in not even getting the rentals I needed for my event:
- messaged to visit the store to view inventory. Showed up at agreed to time and Belinda was a no show. Told us to show up tomorrow instead. (I had taken time off of work to come here…)
- second day showed up to the agreed to time, Belinda was 20 minutes late.
- after agreeing on some items she told us to text her what we wanted and we did. We landed on price, pickup time, and date with text confirmations.
- day before pickup I sent a reminder text. No response.
- day of event I called to confirm I was on the way for her to tell me I had the time wrong when our text messages clearly stated the time I had. She went on to tell me I was wrong and that this is not how business is run in Boston and started yelling at me and telling me that I’m unprofessional.

End result, I had to scramble to buy things for my event the day of…DO NOT use this company if you can avoid it at all costs.
