We are a wedding photographer and videographer duo, and my wife and I have shot so many weddings here, so hopefully we can provide some detailed insight into this stunning venue!

First off, the venue interior and exterior gives you such an elegant, luxurious feel. There are two separate rooms for the bride and groom to get ready, with the groom usually getting ready upstairs in a large room overlooking the ocean, and the bride getting ready downstairs, with a private expansive balcony.

Every part of this venue is thoughtful and beautiful. Even the entrance space is spacious for guests, and the outside courtyard area with the string lights is perfect for both cocktail hour (which can be combined with the inside) and reception drinks/spaces.

There is a balcony that overlooks the ceremony location, and lots of spaces to walk around on the side for the bride and groom to take romantic photos/videos. The ceremony site can be facing the trees or the ocean, but you really can't go wrong whichever way you decide to orient the chairs! The stairs along both sides of the venue are so stunning, as well, for some elegant photos/videos.

In the reception area, there are these majestic double doors that can make quite a visual impact when you make your grand entrance or for when guests start to file into the decorated reception space. The sweetheart table usually is in the middle of the space, with tables on either side of the dance floor. The lighting makes this large space feel so intimate!

We've loved every wedding we've shot here, and it's amazing to see how every single couple was able to infuse their own personalities and charm into the decorations! It really made the venue feel somehow different each time.

Overall, we highly, highly recommend Bel-Air if you're looking for your dream venue!!

We hosted our wedding at Bel-Air Bay club and cannot put in to words how exceptional the experience was from start to finish. We toured on a gray and cloudy day and were still amazed by the beauty of the space and knew immediately we wanted to book. The planning process was so easy start to finish and our wedding day was nothing short of magical. Months later, our guests are still raving about how great the food was and the service from every staff member. Throughout the process and on our wedding day, every interaction with the team was top notch, but Vivienne deserves a special shout out for her incredible service on our wedding day. She is so special and made our wedding day even better than I could have imagined. Our wedding day was perfect and I cannot recommend Bel-Air Bay Club enough to anyone planning a special event.

We had the most amazing wedding day at Bel-Air Bay Club! You can tell they really pay so much attention to detail and really prioritize you having the best day possible. From bringing the bride and groom back to the bridal suite after the ceremony for private drinks and appetizers to the detailed communication and beyond. The food was amazing, a lot of our guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! We still have guests raving to us about the salmon! And all of the staff were so great to work with! Could not have asked for a better venue!

If I could give 1,000,000/10 stars I would. Words can't even begin to describe how amazing this venue, staff, experience, etc. is. My husband and I live in San Diego but are from the east coast & decided early on that we wanted to get married out here in SoCal. Ideally we would of loved to get married in San Diego (because duh we live there!) but didn't fall in love with a venue in the area. Our thought process was "if we're going to ask everyone to fly across the country, we need to give them that Southern California feel" and when we found Bel Air Bay Club...our jaws literally hit the floor. If anyone is looking for a venue that not only is STUNNING inside and literally outside + have the absolute best support from the venue, please look no further. From Ashley to Steve to Maria- everyone was unreal. The email and phone support (& yes I was one of those brides who emailed 35 million times a day and Ashley Hann answered every.single.question without any hesitation!) this venue provides of second to none. When I say that every.single.one.of.our.guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was, how beautiful the lawn was, how amazing that we had so many different rooms to hangout in, etc. I mean, every guest was blown away by the venue. For getting ready, the boys had their own room that's huge and spacious and overlooks the lawn (I did get some feedback that it was a little warm while they were getting ready) and then us girls had the boardroom downstairs that went straight onto the gorgeous patio that overlook the water (I will admit that I think adding some additional couches or something for comfort would be nice but overall, very comfortable!) and made it super easy for the 10 of us to all get ready! I could write a million pages on why this venue made all my dreams come true, and I truly mean it. Cost wise- you're paying a premium but you're getting an absolute premium with service, food, alcohol, VIEWS & overall experience. If anyone is on the hence about BABC, just do it. We had all 160 guests fly into LAX (only 10 of our guests live on the west coast!), they all stayed in the Courtyard Marriott in Santa Monica, and then we hired shuttles to take everyone to the venue (13 min drive). For the entire weekend we wanted to give our guests an experience that was seamless and beautiful & BABC did just that. Was hands down the best weekend of our lives & we have Bel Air Bay Club to thank for it!

P.S- Maria (venue bridal coordinator) is sweetest lady I have ever met. An absolute god sent- she helped me with everything & anything I needed! Made the entire night so amazing for both me and my husband. Right before I walked down the stairs for our ceremony, I was so nervous/anxious and Maria literally just held me to calm my nerves and help me be less anxious. I mean, what other venue offers a literal wedding emotional support coordinator?! If the above rant didn't convince you to book BABC, have 1 conversation with Maria and that's all you need! <3

This venue is perched on the scenic cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and the stunning views create a mesmerizing backdrop for the ceremony area. The Bel-Air Bay Club was the perfect venue for our wedding, exceeding all our expectations. From the stunning ocean views to the beautifully maintained grounds, every detail was picture-perfect. The setting provided a breathtaking backdrop for both our ceremony and reception, making our special day truly unforgettable. I had so many comments on how it was the most beautiful wedding they'd been to and also the BEST WEDDING FOOD ever! Shout out to Chef Peter Edwards because I swear the food during my wedding tasted even better than I remember from the tasting... How he was able to pull it off for 211 guests, I have no idea, but the food was all so delicious. I'm so happy I was able to have at least one bite of everything at the wedding. The venue sets aside all of the display items/hor dourves for the bride and groom along with our signature drinks to make sure we can enjoy it.
The staff at Bel-Air Bay Club were exceptional, offering top-notch service and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Ashley Hann, the venue coordinator, was extremely easy to work with. Her professionalism and dedication made the planning process seamless, as she provided invaluable assistance and recommendations to bring our vision to life effortlessly. A special mention goes to Maria Elena, my bridal attendant, who was the most professional and attentive attendant anyone could ask for. She fed me, kept me hydrated, ensured my veil, hair, and dress were in perfect order for photos, and even pulled out a lint roller to remove lint from my father's suit. She had everything we might need in her little pouch and was incredibly sweet throughout the day. Maria Elena also sent me all the behind-the-scenes photos she took, knowing I would want to see them before the professional ones were ready.
The indoor and outdoor spaces were versatile and elegant, allowing for a beautiful flow throughout the event. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the location and the overall ambiance. The catering was exquisite, with delicious food and impeccable presentation that impressed everyone. If you're looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, exceptional service, and a luxurious atmosphere, the Bel-Air Bay Club is the perfect choice. Our wedding day was magical, and we are so grateful to the Bel-Air Bay Club for making it all possible. If you're looking for a venue in southern CA and this place is around your budget, do it. Words cannot describe how amazing this venue was for our wedding and how grateful we are to the staff for helping us pull off such a beautiful day and wonderful memories. I wish I could personally thank everyone working that day, because it was amazing.

The communication with our onsite planner was amazing, super professional, positive, quick responding, understanding, super organized, basically everything you could want. The day of staff were also all rock stars, especially the ones personally assigned to me and my husband through out the evening! We felt special from the very first phone call with Bel-Air and we felt like royalty the moment we stepped foot on the property throughout the whole day. They listened to us and did everything they could to make the day perfect.

As for the venue itself, its gorgeous. The inside is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Of course the the view outside is absolutely stunning. If you hurry, you can even make it down to the beach afterward for a couple of photos. The food was also very good and our guests had nothing but good things to say about the food, aside from they wish they could have gotten seconds :-).

Weddings are beautiful, however wedding planning can be awful and insanely stressful. I'd been carrying that stress on my shoulders throughout roughly a year of planning. The moment I walked onto the property the day of our wedding, the staff came and took all of that stress off my shoulders and I was able to truly enjoy our day. Our wedding was perfect and I have absolutely no regrets choosing Bel-Air Bay Club.

Attended a wedding. Nice atmosphere, well decorated, the place is well taken care of. Very good service. Excellent view of the ocean. People working there are friendly. They also have a 9 room hotel there. Indoor ballroom is very specious with pretty big dance area. Valet parking.
