Stayed here for Junk Gypsy Prom. Nothing fancy but clean and met all our needs. Added plus- I left my dress and jacket in the room and contacted the manager, Leslie who had it shipped to me within a week. Super friendly and accommodating!

If I could give this hotel a zero, I would. Don’t waste your money. They don’t care about any customers. Employees park their cars under the porte-cochere so if it’s raining, you can’t pull your car up to unload and Checkin so you have to walk with luggage in rain. When asked about it, employees Brooklyn and Adrian both said they always park here and refused to move. Another group came thru the lobby at the time of our check in and mentioned the same thing to Brooklyn and were not happy because we were all soaking wet. Brooklyn rudely said “I’ve heard this 40 times today” but did nothing. We said that maybe she needs to move her car and they aren’t going to get good reviews and she said she didn’t care. We got our keys, went up to our room, unpacked, got in our PJs cause it was late and got a phone call telling us to come down to the front desk. We proceeded to in our PJs and were told we were being kicked out of the hotel. Keep in mind, we did nothing but said they’re getting bad reviews and it was late, raining and they put older ladies in a very unsafe position to try and find another hotel. We had 4 rooms booked for multiple nights for the Round Top spring show. We all packed up our stuff and loaded our cars in the pouring rain! Both employees were unprofessional, disrespectful and have no business being in the hospitality business. Their manager Leslie was apparently listening on the phone and did nothing. They even mentioned they were going to kick the other guy out that made a comment about their parking. Never in my life of traveling have I run into this situation and these employees should not be employed. The hotel wasn’t even that great and had a weird smell in the rooms. Kicking out 5 ladies late at night was disgraceful. Do not stay here!!!!!

THE POOL WILL NEVER BE FIXED!!! I stayed at this place to have a hot tub to sit in. It is an indoor pool and hot tub. The OWNER WILL NOT HEAT it and they never will. The front desk confirmed that they have not heated, never will, and plan on filling it in. Besides the furniture being dirty, very low cost fixes (it is clear they are trying to do everything on the cheap). It is not priced for what you expect.... more of a motel 6 quality place.....

Nice friendly service, not afraid to take my kids there, decent breakfast, perfect location for my needs. Was on the way to Houston rodeo, had a slash in my sidewall 15 miles outside of town, and got towed to Walmart to get repaired the next morning. Walmart didn't have the correct tire. Luckily, there was a discount tire right next to it, and that had the right tire. Showered, ate breakfast (witch was nice after spending money we hadn't expected), and got back on the road.

The place was semi-clean and the only reason I’m giving two stars. The key wouldn’t open the room the second day of our stay and had to wait 15 minutes for the front desk to return to the desk to fix the issue. Breakfast was basic, as expected. Carpet and furniture was old and dirty and the TV only had a few channels.

Simple hotel with good access to multiple businesses and eating establishments. Stayed there because family member was in the local hospital. If you forgot something, you are right next to a Dollar Tree and Walmart.

Fridge didn't work toilet was loose on floor toilet seat was loose also bathroom light in ceiling was out holes in wall from pictures I assumed door didn't shut unless slammed so many other things. For the price I figured it would be better

Rooms were outdated. The bathroom was nasty. We had to check in before we could use the bathroom. We spent extra to be able to stay at a hotel with an indoor pool but it wasn’t heated (heater broke in hot tub too), it was filthy on the bottom, bugs were floating on top. Funny smell in the room. The lady at the counter said the owner won’t care when I asked her to express how disappointed we were with the property
