VA has been trying to improve over the last few years. The doctors and nurses try very hard to give quality care. Wait time for an appointment typically exceed several months. Seasonal influx of snowbirds can over stress the system. Parking is always a problem but there is a shuttle. Volunteers are outstanding.
This is where we see the ongoing price of freedom.

Did more than the Bradenton clinic and seemed efficient. Older facility and outpatient pharmacy didn't want to service my meds at the end of the shift. They need to shift the inpatient pharmacy closer to the emergency room so patients don't get lost. ER staff helped me find the inpatient pharmacy.

"Elevators never work , creepy
and unprofessional behavior from
employees and staff. Subpar medical
treatment"

-----------

You must not have went to the third floor infectious diseases clinic... and must have picked the one not working elevator on the one day it happened to not be working (which btw is extremely unlikely because elevators are highly regulated, safety inspected, and things that must be certified quite frequently.. then again if your idea of working is you push a buton and immediately a door pops open exclusively to take you where you gotta go right when you gotta go like you're the only person in the world that has to get anywhere... then sure the elevators don't work)

Can't speak for any of the staff besides 3rd floor infectious diseases clinic... which in my experience are quite professional... granted there was a little awkwardness until they figured out I'm not at all a person that's squeamish about talking rather bluntly about poop or C.diff... but my experiences with building 22 are night and day opposite of yours.

If you did happen to sincerely have such an awful experience with building 22... I suggest patient advocate or VA IG as an infinitely more effective means of resolution compared to writing a review on google maps about the entire building. I'd bet no one in administration, patient advocate, or anywhere else that really matters is paying any attention to google maps building 22 reviews... which up until 4 days ago had no reviews at all on google maps.
