I have so many bad Experiences at this VA. Bay Pines VA Lee county. I called Community care on the 8th of Nov 2024. Left a message to make an appointment for the Eye Dr. Tyson Eye. Nothing. I called one day and was on hold for a long time. I was hung up on 3 times. And called back 2 more times. I got the runaround. Something is seriously wrong with my eyes. I could be going blind. I feel, we the Veterans are just a check for this VA. CAPT. LOVELL- Great Lakes Naval Station 5 Stars. GREGORY HINES VA. CHICAGO 5 Stars. This VA Bay Pines Lee County No Stars.

I receive service related disabilty. Bay Pines billing sends me an offset recovery of medical debt bill. I request a waiver of debt which is granted. The Bay Pines VA facility still took my entire disability check after waiving debt and left me with nothing facing eviction. They tell me I will be refunded and it takes 6 to 10 weeks. Thanks a lot.

So many issues with the VA but the one I run into the most is that You are unable to even call them unless You have an extension to dial. Almost all of their numbers are β€œunassigned” then You get hung up on. The only effective method of using the VA is to not even use them at all. Hate that place!!

Absolute clusterfuck with zero coordination between departments, physicians and offices as organization is nonexistent. If you have to call the VA for any reason be prepared for long waits and unreasonable hold times, at times over an hour. The entire VA system needs scrapped and rebuilt.

The doctors and staff definitely care about the veterans who receive their health care at the VA Baypines fl. Especially as far as my schizophrenia care in mental health. Rodney Allan Foster

I have been on hold and transferred about 10 times in 45 mins just to try to make an appt. I'm frustrated and pissed off. You wonder why veterans are the way we are. I can't even get help from a place that is suppose to be for veterans. I still didn't get an appt and have tried calling over and over for about 2 hours after being on hold and getting absolutely nowhere. I kept getting transferred and told 6 different extensions that donat work and don't get me to the "person" that it is suppose to help. When finally speaking the a person, they were no help and had no idea how to get me the help I needed. This system is Bullshit! And the V.A sucks. From one pissed off veteran.

There have been many instances of derogatory and hostile treatment of veterans by the Pinellas Suncoast Transit authority,
Rudeness by drivers and inconveniences imposed upon disabled veterans by parking too far from the curb making the boarding difficult and sometimes impossible,
I am urging the director of this facility to impose an investigation upon the bus system and its upper management for the mistreatment of veterans by drivers.

There is entirely too many foul-mouthed and mean comments made by drivers toward veterans
I've had four doctor appointments where the doctor never showed up who I really never have met the fifth appointment was with a doctor who was not interested in hearing what I had to say and then the nurse today told me she was busy when I was trying to tell her about a healthcare concern.

is this an appropriate form of healthcare delivery?

wouldn't Heaven's name is going on here!

I just heard a news report that 130 million set aside for homeless veterans has been given to illegal immigrants to provide for their basic needs and I am a homeless veteran for quite some time now and if this is true you know I'm going to be very upset
