Pretty spot for an easy hike. Looks to be a great spot for kids - there’s a tire swing and a large sandbox and the loop trails around the “cobble” are short and have a good amount of variety to keep the little ones entertained. I missed the vista because I didn’t bring a map with me and mistakenly thought it was along one of the trails on the cobble, but it’s not. Lesson learned to be better prepared!

The maintenance on the trails was quite remarkable. Trails were clearly marked. Our 2.2mi hike felt like 3mi. The terrain was not boring by any means. The views were gorgeous also! I'd highly recommend a visit with the kids.

Really beautiful and easy to follow trails plus a lovely view from the top! Would highly recommend visiting Bartholomew’s Cobble. We did the whole loop in ~2 hours, but there are options to shorten the hike. The visitor centre is great too, and the lady working there was very informative and friendly. The only downside was that Ashley House was closed for the season, but otherwise it was a great experience!

Nice short hike. Up to 2 miles, well marked trails. Had a few short sets of stairs. Plenty of bugs and places where you had to brush against the underbrush.

Awesome hiking ground. We started on the ledges trail then headed up Hurlurt's Hill. Return trip was via Tulip Tree trail and Bailey trail. The view from Hurlurt's Hill is one of the best in the Berkshires. Totally worth $5 to park. Highly recommend.

We came to Bartholomew’s Cobble (Sheffield MA) to drive north to Natural Bridge to see the colors. What we’ve seen on our way out from Northampton was already beautiful. The “peak colors” seem close. BC had a bathroom that was open but marked “closed”. Beautiful Mountain views both East and West. We hiked up Hurlbert’s Hill which was 1.3 moderate miles. Our pictures below are from the top of HH.
