We own a piece of this little gem. It is private and you must be a property owner to reap the benefits or a guest of an owner. We like this as it maintains the security, safety, and cleanliness of the park. It is gated as well. The overseers are incredibly helpful and nice and even if they have to 'police' a rule breaker (like no glass bottles on the beach) they approach them with friendliness and from more of an education standpoint. It is the nicest private beach on Lake Martin in my opinion. The HOA is affordable and Board of Directors is reasonable and helpful. We're never selling. We love it here.

My wife was diagnosed with cancer during our latest trip. I contacted bama rv park to explain we would not be able to include them on our trip and requested a cancelation. They refused to refund any portion of my money as they said I didn't contact them in time. Of all the campgrounds I had scheduled overnight stops with, all but Bama refunded my money. I highly recommend you do not book with this campground. Taking it one step further, I will recommend to all my Alliance family (over 10,000 strong) that you help me support this effort and get the word out. They should not be in business.
