Wow! Where do I even begin? My husband and I booked this day trip to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we arrived to the Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport, the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The waiting area was nice and clean and equipped with a coffee bar, beverages and snacks. When it was time to board our plane, our pilot Kevin took pics in front of each couple. The plane fits about 9 guests. We flew in a 2023 plane with only 200 air miles on it! Needless to say I was put at ease and the flight was extremely smooth.

When we landed, we were immediately picked up in a golf cart and took a 2 min drive to the boating dock. The boat was extremely well kept and clean. It was full stocked with snacks, beverages and even white claws! There were 6 people total on the boat and our captain Bernie was so nice and guided us every step of the way throughout each excursion. We never felt rushed and we’re at each excursion for a reasonable amount of time. We went to swim and feed the pigs, then to swim with nurse sharks (which the guide also got in the water with us and help us take pics with the sharks), then we went to the Pablo Escobar plane wreck to snorkel with was incredible. Then we went to lunch (which if given the choice I’d opt to eat at the Staniel Yacht Club. They recommend we do a Bahamian buffet restaurant on the water but it wasn’t very good). After, they took us to iguana beach and lastly to a grotto which was the highlight of our trip. You snorkel amongst all the beautiful coral and fish! Then it was time to return to the dock for our flight. We tipped our boat captain even though they didn’t ask and we flew back to Ft Lauderdale. Everything from beginning to end was seamless and took the guesswork out of planning a phenomenal trip! The amount of stuff they pack into one day made it well worth the cost! We will be back to stay in their Villas next! If you stay at their properties, they take you to do other things not included in the day trip. If you’re in the fence, BOOK IT!

OMG such an amazing tour exploring the beauty in the Bahamas. Thousand shades of blue color of the ocean, super cute pigs swimming in the ocean, gentle nurse sharks… I would do it again!! Thank you for this unforgettable experience !!

Great trip. Wife and I spend a day in the Bahamas on their Day trip. Trip was very fun.

Plane was clean and was very neat watching the pilots work as we flew into the Bahamas.

Once there, we had a nice boat with snacks and drinks provided. Snorkel gear was in good shape. Spent time feeding the sharks, sightseeing, swimming with the pigs, and so much more. Easy way to get the Bahamas experience all at once. We were able to explore Thunderball Grotto and snorkel a sunken plane crash. All extremely neat. The grotto is little more challenging than the guides make it seem. You have to swim underwater to get into the grotto if the tide is up.

Only reason for a 4 star over a 5 is there is little bit of awkwardness between what is actually going on at times. I think little more communication would be great. As someone who hasn't traveled out of the country much, communication is key. Other recommendation is that each stop along the way definitely could be a bit longer. Would have loved to have spend little more time feeding and holding the sharks. Most stops are around 15-20 minutes. I think some could be closer to 30 minute stops. We also arrived in Ft. Lauderdale early so they may have shorted us half hour to an hour. Maybe flight was just quicker than normal?

Overall, highly recommend this trip. Felt very safe the entire time and did have a great trip.

We had an excellent time at Lazy Bay! The cottage was beautiful, with impeccable finishes. We were able to swim and paddle board in the bay, even on rough days, which was great. It was also easy to dock out boat. Brian, the caretaker, was incredible - he was nice, helpful and available whenever we needed anything. Would definitely recommend and return!

My teen sons said this was the best vacation they've been on.Our pilot, Kevin, made us feel like we were in safe hands. He let my son sit up front and chatted on the way to the island which was really kind. We stayed in Cabernet villa and had a Yummy breakfast every morning waiting for you after swimming in the crystal clear bay just outside your door....Watching the planes come and go was cool too. You essentially have the bay all to yourself. I saw sea turtles one morning while I was paddle boarding and a manta ray swam underneath the board, too! Having the golf cart was essential and fun to drive around. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

We were two couples traveling via our own boat, and we really enjoyed our stay tremendously, even after a few hiccups. The Lazy Bay Villas has three very nice two bedroom units, with an excellent kitchen setup, large great room, the best place to dock you boat (if under 40ft) and beautiful bay views. The only negative may be the prop airplanes that land and take off, however some folks enjoy watching them. Local atmosphere is a 5 minute golf cart ride away to the town center and marina. Given our experience with our first stay, our next visit will be much better, hence I do recommend staying at Lazy Bay, especially if are a boater. What can be done better 1. They can better advise you on arrival and docking instructions, if is your first time arriving by boat (tides and navigation are a bit complicated), 2. They can offer to pre-stock the unit with basic drinks and snack items (otherwise you need to bring it or run off and get the items in town), 3. If you are going to boat around locally or fish, and need a smaller boat, order it at the same time you reserve the unit, 4. The house host is very nice, however layout expectations from the start to avoid disconnects and wasted time.

The Day Trip from Miami to the Exumas was the best day of my life! Everything was perfectly organized and all involved people were super friendly! Before your flight you can have a drink from the minibar and some snacks and then you go straight to the airplane. The flight itself was very smooth with a short stop at Andros Congo Town Airport for customs. After 15min we did the short hop to Staniel Cay airport, where we were directly brought to our private boat. After a wonderful day of experiences with the pigs, sharks, iguanas, the grotto and the sunken plane, our journey back to the US was as smooth and organized as in the morning.
