My wife and I had a great time on the half day ATV ride. The trail has a good bit of challenging areas, but also has some easier areas as well. There are plenty of great spots to stop along the trail and take in the stunning views. Don’t forget to bring a lunch or some snacks and drinks. The crew of Backbone Adventures, both at the store and on the trail were very friendly and helpful. This is DEFINITELY worth doing during your trip to the Estes Park area.

Backbone is the place to go, no joke! They made it absolutely hassle free and very informational, since we had no clue where the good spots were. Their rides are in tip top shape and had zero issues. We back the next day to rent a sled and tube and have us a discount for returning. If you are trying to find a place to have some fun, don’t waste your time just go to Backbone Adventures!!!

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful both at the office and on the trail. Great value and great experience. The trail is amazing and a great way to explore the Rockies. We will definitely be back. I would rate this higher than 5 stars if I could.

We had a blast with our Jeep rental from Backbone Adventures! It was certainly a highlight of our trip. The YouTube videos and employee trail recommendations were greatly appreciated. Also, the provided GPS was a big help in getting us to and from the trailheads. We had plenty of time to go down the Pierson Park trail and back and then down the Johnny Park trail. We would definitely do it again and go explore some of the other trails. Thanks for the memories!

Picked up a BRAND NEW RZR 1000 for a full day of Winter fun! Very capable machine! Only used the winch once! Such a great activity! The folks at Backbone were easy to work with and they even had some hot coco for us when we got back! 5 stars!

An absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! The equipment is top-notch, and the staff are both friendly and professional. This adventure is definitely worth the cost and offers a fantastic way to take in the breathtaking scenery and mountains while staying in the Denver/Boulder, Colorado area.

Had a freaking blast!!!!
My mom and I went when she was out here visiting me and it was amazing!
I’d never driven an ATV before but it came naturally and was such a good time.
The staff was helpful, kind, and so fun!
Maddie’s was so sweet and told us about the ropes, and the rest of the guys were such a fun time.
10/10 recommend!!

Excellent time out with outstanding business and team. Very easy check-in process, and safety protocols described to us… Trails were very good, a little rocky but very good. We went during a mist/ rain, and Although the views weren’t there, it was still a Fun experience. Recommend to go on a clear and sunny day.
