May 13 we had the worst experience using Fort Lauderdale Airport ... no conection thru other terminals weather protected and terminal with no food options and staff, Azul and Airport, not at all ready for emergency situations like floot.. After one strong rain and the airport was 100% caotic. Azul abandoned all passangers with poor communication and any information or help.Took us 2 days, at our expenses, ho, food and transport. Total frustation... FLL and Azul, never more...

My favorite airline. I prefer FLL airport. MIA is usually very crowded. Employees are always polite and helpful. The check-in is getting faster despite COVID delays. Be prepared to show your test results and the form filled from ANVISA website. Keep in mind they charge $150.00 for oversized luggage. If your test result is expired (24h for antigen or 72h for PCR) you can make another test at the airport. They charge around $180 for rapid PCR and you get the results in 15 to 40minutes.

Very poor customer service. I purchased 2 one way flights and realized I needed to change the dates for one day sooner. My original flights cost me $167. When I tried to change the flight date for one day sooner, Azul wanted to charge me a change fee of $240. That is 144% of the cost of the first flight! I might as well throw my tickets in the trash and just buy new tickets for less. I pleaded to have the change fee waived but they declined. Waited 30 minutes on hold to speak with a representative just to have them try to milk me for money.

Completely disorganized, very clunky website, it doesn’t work for check in , flight information or purchasing luggage. Terrible boarding system. I missed a international AND domestic connection. Flights are often delayed or just canceled. Poor customer service. If I have a choice will never fly AZUL again.

Terrible customer service, Azul have the worst reservation system of any airline worldwide. I paid for excess baggage via the Azul website, and had confirmation. Upon checkin, the agent said he couldn't find the excess baggage reservation and insisted I pay an excess, despite me showing him the confirmation. He said the system gave errors when trying to access the data and refused to check me in until I paid. I've now paid a fortune and unable to reach any customer service representative. Dodgy airline.

After a connection, they put me in a huge line. It was clear that I was going to miss my flight, so I started bugging Azul employees and they said that if I couldn't get my passport verified within 20 minutes of my DEPARTURE TIME (not even boarding time), they would put me in another "special line". After arriving at FLL, they locked us up inside the plane for 20 minutes! The lack of proper orientation was unnecessarily stressful, and I will be avoiding Azul from now on.

Wonderful experience flying with Azul. I haven't had an airline put so much effort into customer satisfaction in quite a while. I have made 4 trips to Brazil with American Airlines. I would rate them as the B-Team compared to Azul. Azul's planes are now new or newer model A330's and 321/320's. Very comfortable economy class and excellent Executive class.
The personnel at Azul are going to great lengths to try and give theirs customers what they pay for. Many thanks to Azul for their efforts in this area. It makes a huge difference in satisfaction when they care about taking care of you.
