My husband and I got married here this June and have nothing but positive things to say. From the planning process to the end of the night, Avonlea staff were incredibly helpful and kind. You can tell the owners, Clint and Debbie love their venue, weddings, and love! We received so many compliments from guests about how the venue we chose was just gorgeous. If you are looking for a beautiful Virginia wedding in a serene, beautiful landscape with great staff, Avonlea is the place for you.

My husband and I got married in September the day Tropical storm Ophelia came through. The entire time, from start to very finish it stormed and the staff at Avonlea Farms were more than incredible. They made us and all our 150 guests feel safe and happy. We are so thankful for such amazing people making sure our day way truly amazing. The venue is by far the prettiest wedding venue around, the rain gave it a moody vibe. We love it there and recommend them to everyone we know who’s planning their wedding.

We had our daughter’s wedding the first week of October. We chose Avonlea because of the BEAUTIFUL grounds and of course, the tree and the greenhouse! I can’t say enough about Jess and her staff to make a very stressful planning process so easy. As the mother of the bride, I did not have to think of a thing the day of the wedding. Jess took care of everything!!! Our guests commented throughout the night that they have never been to a more beautiful and stunning wedding. The grounds, bridal suite, groomsmen cottage, and lake are so unique. The girls had so much fun watching the guests arrive at the window in the bridal suite! The cost is worth it in that we saved on so many decorations thanks to their bride pay it forward closet. We were able to use their signs, greenery, easels, and more!! At no cost. Thank you Jess for one of the happiest days of our life ?❤️

I have done multiple weddings at this venue and I have to say it is hands down THE BEST place to have any kind of event! The staff is always lovely to work with, the entire place is just beautiful and clean, and everything just makes sense when it comes to Avonlea! If you’re planning anything, give them a call PLEASE!

My husband and I are already brainstorming about how we can come back for a 5 or 10 year anniversary. We got married the weekend of Hurricane Helene, which brought about some changes in plans. When we decided to adjust our rain plan to the greenhouse instead of the pavilion, Jess and her team went above and beyond to make the space still be the ceremony of my dreams. Jess and her family and team are thorough, communicative, and kind. The entire event ran so smoothly--I never had to worry about a thing on the day of. We felt so well taken care of! And we received endless feedback on how beautiful the venue is and how fantastic the staff is! We'd get married every year here if we could.

We had a fabulous time celebrating the marriage of our daughter and son in law at Avonlea Farms. The day was great, the venue was beautiful, and all the staff took such great care of all of us. I’ll always cherish memories of the ceremony under the beautiful oak tree and the reception in the gorgeous greenhouse and patio. Thank you for sharing your beautiful farm with us.
