I returned to riding as an adult after taking about ten years off. Miranda gave me the confidence that I could do it, and i did. When I began riding at Avondale Meadows at Gleason Farms, I knew I found my second home. I first came to the barn just as a student to take weekly lessons. As a rider taking lessons, the atmosphere is great and Miranda is an amazing teacher. So amazing, that 8 months later with Miranda's guidance I bought and brought my first horse to come live at the barn. Now as boarder, I get to spend time with other boarders going out on the beautiful trails, riding one ring with a fantastic view or the beautiful new indoor, or just catching up while grooming. Miranda and Greg are amazing, their love care and friendship is evident in the beautiful business the they have built.

I've spent 5 years at Avondale Meadows and can not say enough about the hands on care, the friendly learning environment and how happy my horses were while in Greg and Miranda's care. This is a family run business and owners live on site. The horses are on a schedule, have fresh hay and warm water through the winter! We relocated across country and our experience at Avondale Meadows will not soon be duplicated.

I am an equine massage therapist and I travel to many barns. Each has its own unique feel. Avondale Meadows is one of my favorite farms to visit. There is a professional, yet family run feel to the barn. There is on site 24/7 care, a warm water wash stall and a gorgeous indoor arena. Miranda is knowledgeable and kind. The boarders are happy and their horses are all well cared for. This farm truly is a hidden gem!

Avondale Meadows is heaven. My horse is very happy there and so am I. Miranda is extremely knowledgable about everything horse and shares her knowledge generously with her boarders and trainees. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate. The brand-new indoor is fabulous and now we don't have to suffer through another winter of not riding. From English to Western, from Dressage to Trail riding - if you look for a place that is serious about horses and their owners whilst being laid back and inviting, don't look further.

Being a first time horse owner I never knew the workings of a barn behind the scenes. Miranda and Greg work extremely hard to ensure the horses are well cared for and happy. They live onsite so that puts my mind at ease knowing my horse has round the clock care. They both are great in offering answers and advice. Miranda schedules everything like clockwork whether it be the vet, dentist or farrier. She is a top notch (and very patient) instructor. I came to her barely knowing how to check my diagonal to now jumping. The barn atmosphere is laid back and like a big family. My horse is everything to me and I can honestly say I would never trust her in anyone else’s hands except Avondale’s.
