Everyone who assisted me during my ER stay were friendly, considerate, efficient, and professional. Ashley, Jake and Maisey were caring, patient and understanding with all my concerns, taking time to explain and answer questions. They also kept me updated on test results and frequently checked to see if I needed anything. An ER visit is never pleasant, but the staff made me feel safe and they exuded competence. Very thankful to all of them!

Im not going to share details as to why I needed to visit the ER, but my experience was a good one for the most part. Medical staff was very helpful and all the tests I had have were done rather quickly considering how busy they were. My only complaint was the really long wait time to be discharged. Over 2 hours. During that time my pharmacy had notified me of receiving and then filling the scripts the ER doc had sent in. More than 2 hours was 2 long and they were only getting busier. They need to do better on that part.

Went to get blood work done. Got in and out very quickly. Within 15 to 20 minutes. Young lady who took my blood was extremely good. You could tell she was well trained.

I started coming to avita hospital in 2018 when I had my stroke. They took great care of me and got me back up and going. Back then, they were awesome. In the past couple of years though, I have been there a few times and it has definitely gone down hill in customer care and quality. The ER Dr's, they don't seem to care to find out what's going on with you. There rude, dismissive, they act like they don't even want to be there. They want to rush threw what's going on with you but keep you there for hours upon hours. I don't know that I would go back there again..

"Dr. Jung was very unprofessional with us at Avita , Ontario last night, April 6th. He has no bedside manners and is not a very good addition to the Avita Ontario staff! Rude, and unsensitive to the issue my wife was dealing with. He wouldn't listen to anything I said until I got up out of my chair and basically had to tell him to shut up! He will lose this hospital patients if this is allowed to continue. I have been with Avita since it came into existence but after last night, Ohio Health Systems is looking better. After he left the room, we told the nurse that we were leaving, and we did. A really terrible experience! On the other side the nurses were excellent. They apologized to us over and over for his unprofessionalism. We will not see him again in the future, I can tell you that! Regards, Jim Ritchie"

I went into the ER having trouble breathing from congestion. They took me straight back, put me in a room and within 10 minutes they had the lab tech, the respiratory tech and the X-ray tech all working on me. I was in and out of there in 3 hours. It was amazing. I was treated so well and kept informed all along the way. Everyone was so kind, courteous and helpful.
I would highly recommend Avita hospital to anyone.

Charlotte and Pam were fantastic. Both were very professional and had a great attitude! Charlotte got me checked in very proficiently. Pam ( my phlebotomist)
Was patient and gentle. She was very good at hitting my lousy veins!

Took my son to the emergency room here. We got taken to a room immediately and did not wait long to be taken care of. Dr. Midkiff, who took care of us, was very informative, professional, and kind. I will be making the trip to here from Mount Vernon anytime I need medical help.

I was just discharged today from Avita Hospital in Ontario, OH. I had my right hip replaced, This has been an excellent experience from my first visit with Dr. Foster and his team over a year ago. At that time they took a conservative approach, with therapy and then injections every 3 months which worked and alleviated my pain. However, when the last injection failed to produce the same results, it became obvious that replacement was needed. From that time his team was the BEST, preparing me for the successful procedure on Tuesday morning. Within 2 hours of waking up, I was walking the hallway on a walker. After therapy, that afternoon, the pain was actually less than the pain I was experiencing before the operation. The last 2 days that pain is being handled by just Tylenol. Dr Foster warned me this morning that the pain block he uses would wear off by this weekend and provided additional prescriptions to “stay ahead of the pain”. I cannot imagine a better team or place to have had this procedure. From the receptionist at the main interest to the nurses, nurses aids, the PT and OT team, the Respiratory staff, the Phlebotomist staff, the dining staff, and the cleaning staff, Dr Foster’s team and Dr Beal, everyone was awesome., not of my questions was left unanswered. I know where I will go if I need any other joint replaced! Highly recommend!

I have recently had two great experiences at Avita Ontario Hospital- first with labor & delivery and second with the ED for my son. Both times, all staff was extremely kind, understanding, and efficient. The ED visit specifically was nerve wracking as it was the first time we had to take my two year old and we got into a room within seconds of arriving and were in and out with X-ray results in less than two hours. Highly recommend! I also like that you can see ED wait times on their website.

I have been to Dr's, Foster,Fitch and Rheim for my hip. Had hip surgery 5/9 all of it was a wonderful experience. The nurses that were at hospital the same!The staff in all offices are the best! To say the least of the fabulous Dr's. I had a cough i was concerned with went to Avita ER. And Amazing again!! Dr. Jason, Matt and Sarah were great , and others would stop to help! Just Amazing! Highly recommend! Thank you all!
