I did this hike in late December 2020 and the weather was phenomenal. I didn't quite make it to the top, but it was a great hike nonetheless. It's a 1,600' elevation gain over 2.5 miles from trailhead to summit. I made it about three quarters of the way up before heading back. The trail is well maintained and easy to follow as it loops around canyons, hills, and rock formations up from the road. Views are impressive in every direction the higher you climb. Even half way up, the views are beautiful. There was one slightly tricky spot where you had to negotiate some slickrock , but nothing too difficult. I would love to return to the area again to finish it. On a December Monday afternoon, I passed about a half dozen people. If you are in the Nogales area and looking for some outdoor adventures, this is one I would recommend!

One of the best hikes in Southern AZ. I have done it many times with my hiking group and it is one of our faves! Amazing views all the way up.

I remember as a kid we would go hiking in this area with our neighbor & kids from the neighborhood, we would go to the old Fire watch tower is that still out there

This beautiful 3 hour walk is so pleasant in Nov. with 70 degree temps and a slight breeze. The views are spectacular!
