Before my wedding I was foolishly under the impression that I would be able to handle all of the coordinating myself. I had a very intimate ceremony and figured it would save us some money in the long run. I’m telling you all now that is the wrong mentality. With less than a month to go I realized I was overwhelmed and way in over my head. We spoke to a few coordinators at the same time but none of them presented themselves with such warmth and excitement for us the way that Jenny did. She was there for us and our vendors as often as we needed. She laid out floor plans and strategies that never even crossed my mind. She mentioned to us that she’s been in the business about 16 years now and her experience shows.

On the day of my wedding I was in awe watching everything come together. Even with less than a month to go Jenny and her staff had everything looking exactly like we had envisioned it or better! Even all of the little things made such huge impacts. I had spent 3 days watching YouTube videos on how to fold cloth napkins. Jenny’s team provided 3 options for us to choose from that day. My wife and her sisters had a problem bustling her dress right before our first dance. Jenny stepped in and saved the day to make sure we remained on schedule. It was a long day but Jenny and her team were smiling and friendly with all of our guests from beginning to end. Our wedding day was such a magical experience and we owe a huge part of that to Jenny Goodman.

At Your Door Events will be the best decision you make for your event. Do yourselves that favor. No one will do right by you the way Jenny will!

We hired Jenny as our wedding planner for our February 2022 wedding and couldn't have been more thankful! She did a marvelous job helping us design a beautiful event that went beyond our expectations. She has great connections with various vendors and listened carefully to our costs considerations, helping us find good deals and prioritize the right things to stay within budget. We also got to talk with Jenny as much as we wanted leading up to the event, compared to other planners who set a strict cap on how many meetings you're allowed -- Jenny provided great value for her services along the way.

So you can imagine, by the day of the event, we were already floored by everything Jenny had done for us. But that's when she took it up a notch! Jenny and her 2 assistants were on top of everything on the day of the wedding. Groom's dry hands bleed on the bride's gown before the ceremony? Jenny was there in seconds to clean the dress (good as new) and give the groom hand lotion. Sheriff arrives during pictures due to a drone sighting (not ours) in the area? Jenny takes care of things before we even know there's a situation. By the time we entered the ballroom, Jenny had coordinated with all the vendors to set things up in the most beautiful way. The icing on the cake was when the music stopped and we said our final goodbyes. We asked Jenny, "where's all the stuff from the day that we should take up to our room?" She answered, "it's already up there" - along with a bottle of champagne and a centerpiece! Jenny is a true professional in handling all of the ups and downs of a long wedding day. We can't recommend her highly enough.

We were willing to take the $500 hit just to not experience her condescending, snarky, and impatient attitude. She responds to my fiancé with remarks like "I'm confused" and starts off every sentence with "So what your saying is" even the staff at the venue noticed her pretentiousness.
