Best place to hike and chill that's not too far from the city. So many different trails, from easy to hard, so make sure you have the proper footwear, or have walking sticks. One section is very slippery. But, being in nature is so worth it!

I love this park. There's tons of green space and trees and birds. You can bring your dog for off leash play in the mornings on weekdays. There's a couple great parks for kids and babies and there's a good amount of trails in the mountains to hike, some easy and some more challenging. You can see out to the channel islands on a clear day.

It’s a wonderful hike . It’s kids friendly and good for all ages. You can choose according to your comfort how steep you want to go. Beautiful view from the top. It has park for all age group kids and picnic ground with benches and bbq pits.. Highly recommend.

This park is an absolute gem!! There's bbq pits and plenty of picnic benches. After enjoying some food, you can always choose to hike along the park. There's plenty of small hiking loops. Hiking loops are dog friendly. Lots of lush greenary and flowers. Some have quite an incline. Great mini workout!

We love this park it has a big playground for bigger kids and a small one for little ones under 6, there's restrooms clean , and the hiking trails are fun, plenty of grass areas, for more fun. You'll always find a parking spot, is free during the week and $3 on weekends. Bring your snacks drink and or lunch ti be prepared to be there all day long.. is 1 of my favorite places 😍

Arroyo Verde Park is a fantastic destination for families. It boasts a picturesque hiking trail that meanders through the park's hills, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, the park offers numerous picnic tables and barbecue pits, ideal for hosting a delightful barbecue. There's ample open green space to enjoy, along with a couple of playgrounds for children, including a new one. Please note that there is a nominal weekend and holiday entrance fee, while it's free to visit during the weekdays.

There's street parking and you can always walk in for free. Sometimes it's hard to find street parking.
