I received a flyer in the mail that specifically asked me to be part of a travel "focus group" via Zoom and I would be compensated for my responses with a free 3, 5, or 7 day cruise (I would still need to pay taxes and port fees, which is understandable). When joining the meeting, they proceeded to say this was NOT a focus group but a sales pitch. So, very much a "bait and switch". Isn't that illegal?

I have yet to be compensated, as promised. However, my complaint is more regarding the lack of professionalism during the Zoom call. Firstly, there were several interruptions by a third party company called Epic Journeys, where employees during the call complained about prospects dropping so quickly - learn how to use "mute", Bill. Additionally, the closing, one on one conversation where the "hard" sale occurred with a designated sales rep, "Bill" (the sales asst manager?) joined our video conversation and he proceeded to light a cigarette while on video. Then, he decided to insult my intelligence by pretty much calling me uneducated if Idecided to not purchase the product since I'm not interested in saving money. Really?

This company may have a legit product to help people save money on travel - maybe not. However, just based upon the presentation, serious lack of professionalism, and their "bait and switch" tactic where they said it was a focus group and it was in fact a sales pitch, I would not do business with this company. Additionally, I have seen other posts where people have had similar experiences, which simply reinforces my decision.

I do want to mention, this review is more about the involvement of Epic Journeys as a third party representative of Arrivia. Toni G of Arrivia did immediately respond to my concerns and was kind to address. However, being that Epic Journeys is a representative, I cannot eliminate my review as there should still be some responsibility held by Arrivia.

They promise you a free cruise and $100 in dining certificates for listening to their travel membership presentation. I didn't buy anything. About 40 hours later, I was emailed my prizes - links to 3rd party sites wanting me to spend money to get the prizes. The prizes are not "free". For example, the $100 in dining certificates are spread out over months and you have to spend $50 at a restaurant to get a $25 credit! Don't waste your time with this "discount prices only valid today" sales pitch! Check the other Google Reviews - a BBB rating is useless (companies pay to be rated).

When we first were looking thru our new vacation club, it was scary. There is some much stuff on the site. However, once we spent some time on the site, it was incredible. The chooses and pricing are great. The customer service was amazing with chat or call in. In fact one time I called and I was 5 in the Q and just hit a number to text chat immediately. no wait. Good prices and great service.

I was baited and switched to the presentation for a free cruise.
I have not received an email as promised from last night's presentation.

I am wondering if this is something the FBI would be interested in following up with since it was all done via zoom.

Very disappointed and I am trying to give the benefit of the doubt as they kept me on a sales zoom for over an hour!!

Buyer BEWARE!!!!

Arrivia is a extremely shady, borderline criminal Travel agency, with 90% of all their travel agents (if you can even call them that) located in Manila, Phillippines and also India. They even use software to disguise their accents, and it makes the call very robotic sounding like you are talking to an AI. Charged my AMEX $1500 for a booking, which they could not even secure at one of their "timeshare" hotels, and never even contacted me by email or phone that the reservation was cancelled. I happened to log in to my online portal, and saw next to the reservation that it had been cancelled. Have not received a refund, spent 5+hrs on the phone regarding this, and ended up having to dispute the charges and file a police report to get AMEX to reverse charges.

Arrivia operates mainly under icruise rewards. Tons of complaints againts this company on BBB.

Also, have a cruise booking that was canceled and changed to a different cruise, and 5 months later I have also not got a refund for the difference in price.

Anyone that is considering to book travel thru Arrivia, Icruise, Icruise rewards or any of the other companies they operate should seriously reconsider.

They are not what they seem, and once them have your money it is very difficult to get it back.

Anyone can contact me for any questions, and I will be happy to share any recordings of the false promises this company has made.

Absolutely awful experience with Arrivia. From start to finish, it’s been a nightmare. Communication is beyond terrible. It takes forever to get a response, and when you finally do, it’s unhelpful or rude. Every single invoice we’ve received has had major errors: wrong names, incorrect birthdates, and not once have they gotten it right. It feels like no one there knows what they’re doing or cares. My family and I deeply regret ever using their services. Total disaster. Avoid at all costs.

Wasted an hour and a half in the webinar only to find out that there is limited inventory for the destination that I wanted to go to, even when I was contacted for the same destination in the first place. Was told there'd be no blackout dates but there were! Don't fall for it, it is one of these useless timeshare scams
