Gate is closed and locked on milpas right before power line road. Could not find an alternate way in as all roads around were labeled private property entrances by the local residents.

Beautiful and easy little hike, bring the kids for this little adventure on the Desert side of the San Bernardino Mountains, there was a little water flowing, most was frozen as it was in January on my visit, after they start getting some rain in late February it should be a nice waterfall.

Getting there you'll need 4-wheel drive, we assumed the roads there would be paved, but they're not at all.

The falls are dry at the moment but still worth the trek out there. Lots of trash so I decided to clean up the area while I was out. Take your stuff with you people. It's not that hard. Don't ruin what little we have left out here. Also don't try this in your altima. You won't make it.

Leave only footprints and don’t forget your camera and a trash bag that’s empty when you visit and fill it up when you leave while enjoying the natural beauty on our public lands. It’s a gem in the desert help protect this treasure for those who follow. Kid friendly

Gun shots through the valley sounding very close to us at the first sign for the trail head and spray paint saying "don't go" so yea we didn't get much further than that. Go America

Too many people have found out about this place in the last twenty years, if you want to get away from civilization for some peace and quiet you won't find it here anymore, usually just a bunch of beer drinking loudmouths and flatlanders who disturb the tranquillity of the area with their weekend shenanigans. If you just want to view the waterfall in peace thenI strongly suggest not going on a weekend.
