From the moment my dad, sister, and I first connected with our guide, Cameron, it was clear this wasn't going to be your typical private Grand Canyon tour. He was incredibly communicative via text the day before our tour and also available throughout the tour for any questions. From his first outreach, he was eager to understand what we were hoping to get out of the experience—and more importantly, what we hadn’t yet done or seen. He took the time to truly tailor the day to us, and that thoughtfulness made all the difference.

Cameron at Arizona Private Tours was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide for our tour of the Grand Canyon. His presentation gave us an insightful look into the history, nature and geography of this national wonder. He brought us to several lookout points where we enjoyed spectacular views of the expanse of the Canyon, and even brought out a telescope so we could see Colorado river rafters, helping us gain perspective on the vastness of our view. Cameron also had a special pass to take us on an off-the-beaten path leg of the rim where we had the views to ourselves. In addition, he made reservations for us at El Tovar for classic lodge dining with a view, and brought us to a historic 100-year old trading post with authentic native arts. We were also fortunate enough to have seen elk, mule, deer, and numerous ravens during our tour. Cameron also made a recommendation for us to visit the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, which was a great suggestion. Overall, it was an outstanding way to get to know the Canyon and surrounding area.

Hiring Arizona Private Tours for a full day excursion to the Grand Canyon was absolutely the best decision! The Lincoln Navigator was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The fact that they pick you up and deliver you back to your rental house made the entire day relaxing and convenient.
Our tour guide, Cameron, is the biggest reason our day at the Grand Canyon was so positive. He was knowledgable and passionate about the area, and we learned so much from him about multiple topics. Leaving the driving to him allowed us to enjoy the scenery and to visit the best locations. He also kept us safe, took pictures of our group, and provided snacks, drinks, and lunch. We enjoyed his company and his sense of humor!
Visiting the Grand Canyon was on the "bucket list" of all four of our family members. Spending the day with Cameron provided a deeper appreciation of the entire area, and created a family memory we will cherish forever!

Our guide Cameron is amazing. My family is two adults and 8 and 5 years old kids. Though we had limited hours in one day trip from Sedona, I’m sure we had maximum chances to feel the greatness of Grand Canyon. He was so caring during the tour that we were comfortable all times. He also kept asking us the requests how to have the day, and making flexible arrangements. Arizona Private Tours was well worth the cost and the best way to get an intro to the Grand Canyon for our family! Our guide, John, is so knowledgeable about the Canyon and the general area and was so interesting during our extremely comfortable ride in a Lincoln Navigator. When we arrived at the canyon, he took us to so many amazing viewing points and knew how to avoid crowds. He also listened to us throughout the day and pivoted a little during the day to accommodate us. Highly recommend! Especially, John!
