10/10, HIGHLY recommend! We chose a shoot and guided ride combo tour. During the shoot phase, the instructors were incredibly clear on instructions, safety, and were standing next to you the entire time for safety. The range included appropriate distances for the corresponding gun.

Next, the ride portion was amazing!! A quick intro course was given (verbal, not long at all. I highly recommend watching the safety YouTube course they send before arriving). Helmets, goggles, and one-time use/ new masks were given to each ATV rider at no extra charge.

The group went for a little trial run before adventuring on the guided tour to get a feel for the ATV’s. Our guides, Rich and Hunter, were top tier!! Theyā€˜re clearly experts, helped others if they were stuck, made sure we remained a group while out on the trail, were professional but not over the top (like socially normal lol). Halfway through, we stopped for a break to take photos and learn about the desert. The views were incredible - taken with a grain of salt coming from someone who hasn’t left the east coast lol. Waters were also provided during then!

I highly recommend wearing something with pockets that have a zipper. If not, my phone definitely would’ve fallen out while riding.

The trail itself wasn’t incredibly difficult, but not necessarily ā€œeasyā€ for beginners either. For context, I rode ATV’s as a kid and haven’t been on one in 15+ years. The practice loop definitely helped and was appreciated to get a feel for it again, but I was fine on the trail! Just carefully listen to the instructors (mine were Rich and Hunter!) before riding for gear switches, etc.

When registering, info will be sent to you like the YouTube safety course. Everything’s incredibly well thought-out!

One thing I wish I knew before going there- instructors should be tipped just like any other service industry!! My bf and I didn’t think of tipping going in and assumed the instructors are compensated/ tip included with the fixed cost of the package. Since we were riding, we didnt want to bring our wallets in case they had gotten lost. One slight change on the technical side I wish was different- to include a tip option when registering, to bring cash in advance, or just know that in general… because they damn well deserve it!!
Otherwise, I highly highly recommend!

Hunter was great! Made sure everyone was comfortable and safe on their machine before heading out. What a beautiful ride! We were going to do the unguided tour, but the guided one was much longer. Definitely will be coming back next time we're in PHX!

Such a fun experience! Had our two kiddos and they loved the UTV guided tour. Donn was a great guide and kept the tour flowing smoothly. He also had some fun trivia and knowledge about the desert we were riding through. Highly recommend!

We just got back from the sniper recon UTV and shoot experience. The 50cal and 308 we shoot were great! Jeff and Clay were super professional and made the experience perfect. They had 200, 300, and 500 yard steel targets, but the 500 was the favorite. They really went through setting up and shooting like a sniper with elevation, distance, wind calls, etc. Top notch the whole way. We will be back!!

We did the ride and shoot package. It was fantastic. Ranger master, I can’t remember his name, was great. Went over basics of shooting. Range safety and got us set to shoot. Plinked off a few round for each of us. Even got to see a guy shoot the 50cal. Just awesome. The UTV ride turned into Mother Nature playing the curliest April Fool joke on us a day late. Sun ,clouds ,rain ,wind and hail. All in one ride. But we still enjoyed and laughed our way thru. The views were spectacular. Our guides Joe and Jerry were fantastic and interactive with us about local plants, views and the desert. Would highly recommend this place and next time we are back in area will be going again.

Easily 5 stars for Rich—and if I could give more, I would!

We had the absolute privilege of doing a private sunrise tour with Rich, and it was hands-down one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Despite a light rain (which honestly made the whole experience better—no dust, no blazing sun), Rich brought the energy and knowledge like it was a blue-sky day.

From the start, he went above and beyond—taking us to bonus off-the-map locations, pointing out wildlife like jackrabbits and cattle, and teaching us all about the native desert plants. But this wasn’t just textbook info—Rich gave us live demonstrations, showing which plants are toxic, which are medicinal, and how locals have used them for generations. It was like a science, history, and survival class all in one.

What made it even more meaningful? Rich is military, and we’re deeply grateful for his service. It showed in his professionalism, humility, and leadership throughout the tour.

This wasn’t just a sightseeing trip—it was a full sensory, soul-filling experience with someone who clearly knows and loves the land. If you’re considering this tour, request Rich. Thank us later.
