One hour tour of the facility for $22. The guide was personable and knowledgeable. The grounds were interesting and unique. A cool breeze blows through the mountain and keeps you cool even without air conditioning. There is a cafe and gift shop.

Breathtakingly beautiful view and the ceramic bells are so creative. Unfortunately, they have switched to summer hours and we weren't able to do much but walk around the areas ope n to the public (which isn't much). I'll be back tho, duing business hours!!

Not worth it for me.
We traveled from Prescott after reading information on the website.
Upon arriving there was handicapped parking and a handicapped pathway to reach the building. Once arriving at the building, we had to go up 2 flights of stairs to get to the tour office. Also had to go down 2 flights of stairs in order to get to the cafe and gift shop which being disabled, was not possible. Another person told us that the cafe was closed except for water ?
No elevator in order to reach anything.
Very disappointed as the website indicated that they were ADA accessible.
Needless to say that we drove there for nothing and didn’t see anything.
Also the road, about 2 miles long, there was gravel, rocks and holes and a lot of dust from big rigs going in and out.
Another note, no bathroom except the 1st floor which again is 2 flights downstairs.
As a handicapped person, really disappointed we were not able to do anything.

For a tour, it's a good experience. Yes it's a bit off the path, but the concept of Arcosanti and the uniqueness of it is worth a look. It is a bit run down with obvious funding issues, but nonetheless interesting.

Great way to spend a morning or afternoon! My boyfriend and I stopped here while road-tripping out west and were glad we made the stop. If you are interested in art, architecture, or ecology, you’ll enjoy one of their guided tours. Afterwards, check out the bells you can buy for your home! The dirt road out there is well-maintained and easy enough to navigate (even in a normal sedan).

Arcosanti is an 'Arcology‘ design by Italian American architect Paolo Soleri. These are urban communities that are integrated into their natural environments, and aim to reduce urban sprawl. Closely connected cities with no roads or necessity for cars are one of the guiding principles of this urban experiment which combines ecology with architecture.

Arcosanti is also the Site for the bronze casting and the beautiful brass wind chimes that can be found all over Arizona.

Artists can live and work here. There is a studio for clay works as well as the bronze casting apse.

A cafe on site serves breakfast and lunch - and the best lemonade!

Super cool experience. Seeing the futuristic architecture was really eye opening. We spend about an hour and a half there. Had a lunch. Pesto pasta and salad. Very good and nourishing. There were hardly any seats available so we waited until we a few people got up. We had the best seat in the place. Great view. I would love to come back.
