Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is a fantastic spot for a walk, whether you’re sticking to the concrete paths or exploring off-trail. There’s plenty of space, lots of shade, and it easily accommodates large groups like ours of 60+. The atmosphere is always friendly, and it’s a great place for families to enjoy some time outdoors. Plus, the scenery makes it perfect for snapping some beautiful photos.

Lots of trails you can walk/hike. Along with bike trails. Dog friendly. Pretty views. Great area to go it’s very clean. On the weekend definitely is busier but so many trails to take it doesn’t feel extremely over crowded. Has great water areas that you can walk down to. Has bathrooms and playground for kids up front. We did the tower trail just to stay on the sidewalk because it rained the day before so other trails were pretty muddy but will be going back to try out other trails. Would most definitely recommend!

A beautiful park area with hidden trails for hikers and bicyclists alike. There is a seperate area for children to play and some beautiful water reserves areas to explore while hiking. You could spend a whole day here just hiking & exploring the trails, and taking pictures.
It is also a very well-maintained space.

Its one of the best day out near DFW. Try outer loop trail if you love longer hike. But near the pond around the creek is more scenic.

I visit my sister every year and first time in over a decade did I visit. It’s pretty huge. Who would have thought a park like this existed.

There are 3-4 one mile plus loop walks/hikes. Most of it is paved with some unpaved trails. Does it compare to a National Park or Big Bend, no. But it’s a solid city park.

We showed up Friday at 2-4pm with plenty of parking. On weekends, it may be near impossible to find parking.
