Captain Rich is very knowledgeable of the keys and is very welcoming. I have fished with him multiple times. It’s always fun and he always puts us on fish. I would recommend him to anyone with any level of knowledge about fishing. He does a great job explaining the fish and telling you what it is you are catching. He will also recommend ways to prepare it or point you in the direction of a place that can prepare it for you. If you book with Captain Rich you are sure to have a great day.

Rich was an exceptional guide. He offered multiple options for fishing and helped us catch what he promised. Once the bite started, it was an extremely fun time. His boat was comfortable for our party of 6 on our half-day adventure. He helped us with techniques for ocean fishing and was very calm when fish were on all the lines. I would definitely use him again.

We used Rich twice while staying in Marathon Key. This is our third trip to the Keys and we always get a charter. It has been hit and miss with the different captains but Rich is great! He was excellent with our two kids, polite, fun and his boat was beautiful and comfy. Rich cleaned our catch and we left with lots of gorgeous fillets!

Our fishing experience far outpaced any expectation we had for the day!!! Rich is an experienced captain and knew exactly where we needed to be for an afternoon of great fishing experiences!!! Rich and Chris (employee extraordinaire) both worked very hard to balance the fishing for our youngest (4 yrs) to our oldest (69 yrs)! We started out catching Spanish Mackerel and then proceeded to catching three different types of shark! I LOVED when Rich rigged up a kite for catching shark but I’m not sharing the details, you’ll have to charter a fishing trip to find out for yourself!!!

Had an amazing trip with Captain Joe! He was super easy going, knowledgeable and attentive to my 11 year old son. We caught dinner (mostly snapper) then had pretty much nonstop action catching sharks! Highly recommend Angling Adventures with Captains Rich and Joe. We wil be back next year!

Awesome guide, saved my entire trip! Fished with Capt Rich while visiting the Keys, the weather was less then ideal, but he worked with me on the scheduled day and found a weather window we both were comfortable going out in. Even with the windy conditions we got two Tarpon, which made the trip worth it. Appreciate him putting out the extra effort to get me out on the water and on the fish during my short vacation, To top it off he is a good easy going captain that was a pleasure to fish with.

This was my second time fishing with Captain Rich, each time with one of my sons along as well. We had a great time! He definitely knows the different areas very well and put us on a lot of fish even with the cold water temps they’d had recently. We caught 12 different species including some 3-4 foot lemon sharks that my son and I will never forget. I highly recommend fishing with Captain Rich if you are in the middle Keys and looking to have a great trip.
