As a company we were looking for a boat to charter as we had special guests coming into town. Captain Andrew T Smith was the kindest, most down to earth captain I have had the pleasure of boating with. He suggested some great spots and communicated with us early throughout the week. They had coolers with ice and water ready for us. And he was just absolutely pleasant to be around and talk with!

Bonus we got to see Manatees and dolphins including a baby dolphin, which I felt like was a perfect end to a perfect day on the boat!

If you are looking for a charter in st Pete, this is a great option!

We couldn’t have had a better time with Capt Andrew!!!!! He took photos for us, kept us safe, took us to multiple different locations, and even handed us drinks so we didn’t have to leave the beautiful water!!!!!! A group of 9 girls couldn’t have had a better time if it wasn’t for our captain. Captain Andrew, we can’t thank you enough!!! SEE YOU AGAIN!

Booked a boat to crab island for a bachelorette trip that turned into a nightmare. When we got out for a swim we noticed our captain (Tony) laying down asleep with his shirt off. We thought nothing of it at the moment as it was hot and very sunny a little unprofessional but we didn’t say anything. He then continued to keep falling asleep in his seat we really began to feel alarmed when he was driving us back and was dosing off at the wheel. He flooded the pontoon and all of our belongings as he was not watching where he was going. He was driving dangerously close to other boats and even got us stuck in a sand bar. The absolute craziest part of all of this is when I went inside to tell the manager what happened and that I was concerned he was on something she said “this isn’t the first time I’ve heard something like this” I was so upset and anxious I left immediately but in hindsight I should have called the police. When I emailed Anchor rides (who I booked through) they only offered me a partial refund and proceeded to blame me for not calling the coast guard. I became increasingly upset with them and it got me nowhere. I gave them a chance to make it right with me before even writing this review. It feels wrong not warning others about this. You put 8 people’s lives in danger by knowingly continuing to employee this contractor.

5 Star ride with Captain Andrew Smith and Anchor Tours. Rented the boat for a (4) hour
Cruise to the most popular areas in the Tampa Bay. The Captain reached out to me early in the week to give us the departure locations, answer questions, arrange a plan for the day. While on the boat we were provided ice and coolers for drinks, and used the prepaid fuel option which meant no suprises at the end of the tour . We had a great day on the water and the boat was in phenomenal condition. Sound system was next level and grabbed everyones attention on the water. The Boat we rented was Chasing Daylight, and it is Anchor Tours flagship cruiser.

10/10 recommend! This was the most memorable, incredible experience! The entire booking process start to finish was easy and the communication is fantastic. We went with Lady’s First 42’ Sea Ray Sedan Bridge, captained by Juan and his wife. They were both amazing, professional, and friendly. They took us to the hot spots for photos, and even posed us and took them for us. They stocked and set up our food and drinks, let us connect to Bluetooth, took us to see dolphins, and the go-to bachelorette destinations. I will never forget them or this experience. We hope they get to read this!

One of the best experiences in renting a boat. We had the Sea Ray sedan called the Good life. Captain Jason was great. He made sure we were all safe and took us to a really nice island that was away from all the red tide. Brent who assisted him was awesome as well. He always made sure we were good on drinks and food. They both really made the whole experience even more fun and memorable. We got to see dolphins that rode behind us for a good distance. Would definitely recommend to anyone and can't wait to book another trip.
