As a teacher and principal I did 18 ACIS trips with students and multiple Global Conferences with teachers. ACIS was superior in all regards and I have never been unhappy with the travel experiences they have provided for me, my students, and my colleagues. A recent trip to the Galápagos Islands is a testament to the excellence that ACIS provides.

ACIS is the ONLY Student Travel Company I have used for 35 years. Their attention to detail, outstanding Tour Managers, first rate hotels that are centrally located and incredible itineraries, are just a few of the many reasons to consider this company for your students. As a history teacher, there is no better way to enrich student learning than taking them to the places they have just learned about in class. Working with ACIS has been a gift that keeps on giving! I now have former students who are leading their own groups with ACIS.

I recently attended an ACIS global conference to Norway. It was a fantastic deep dive into the culture of Norway and Scandinavia. Libby Chandler, our tour manager, was fantastic. I especially loved the Norway in a Nutshell tour through the fjords and mountains of Norway. I have traveled with ACIS for over 30 years and had nothing have had nothing but amazing experiences! Love this travel company!

I'm very impressed with this company. I travel with high school students. Libby Chandler, my tour manager, is an incredible human being who will walk through hot coals to make sure my students have an wonderful tour experience. Jeannie Page, my sales rep, is very responsive to my emails and requests. I've used EF tours... my experience with ACIS is far, far better.

My students have traveled with ACIS for decades! For many of those years, I have worked closely with Cara Solle to create trips for my AP Art History class. Cara and her team have been nothing short of amazing in our collaborative efforts to design trips for destinations all over the world. Every trip we have taken to Japan has been different. Last year most of the students were big Hayao Miyazaki fans, so we planned the trip around a visit to Studio Ghibli. Getting those tickets took the vast experience of the ACIS team in Asia. It wasn’t easy, but they did it. Our first day in Tokyo set the tone for the week. We started at the Matsuchiyama Shoden (Kangiten) Temple in Asakusa, the Buddhist temple where one offers daikon radishes. The radish spirit appears in Miyazaki’s Spirited Away. The temple also gave an opportunity to talk about Buddhism and its connections with Hinduism. More importantly, we talked about the Japanese concept of omoiyari—a term that essentially means thinking about others before one acts. In other words, we thought about connections. I keep returning to ACIS because they understand how travel is essential for learning—and making all kinds of connections. They work incredibly hard to make teachers’ travel plans possible, especially within limited time constraints. It takes experience and skill to craft each trip like a work of art
This year our AP Literature teacher and I designed an art and literary trip to London and Paris. In London, our focus will be walking Virginia Woolfe’s Mrs. Dalloway. In Paris, we will visit places such as Argenteuil and the Orangerie as we will experience the work of Claude Monet. We constantly reached out for help and advice in order to make it work.
Finally, let me add that the key word in student in student travel is “flexibility.” Things happen on trips. Flights get cancelled or connections are missed. I always feel secure knowing ACIS is available 24/7. I have needed that support a few times. I write this with deep gratitude for all that ACIS has done for my students.

I have had the pleasure of traveling with ACIS for quite a few years, and it has always been an outstanding experience from start to finish! Their team was incredibly organized and attentive, making every step of our journey seamless and stress-free. Our tour guides are always incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the destinations, which added so much depth and enjoyment to our trip.
The one way to know if a travel company is outstanding is when there is an issue. On our last trip a student fell and ACIS was there for me, the student, and family, the entire time. As the lead chaperone, I never felt alone or uncomfortable. ACIS handled this situation with the utmost care from start to finish. In the end, the students was fine. Although no one wants anything to go wrong during a trip with students, knowing how caring and wonderful ACIS was, I will only use ACIS when I travel with students.

ACIS is the only travel company I will use! My first trip with them was in 2004 and every trip I have taken with them after has been fantastic. I've traveled to Ireland, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy. Their tour managers are fantastic - definitely one thing that sets ACIS apart from the other companies. The hotels are always centrally located - you are in the city where you can walk around and explore. The meals are authentic and delicious. Communication before, during, and after your trip is exactly what you need. I have always felt extremely supported and valued traveling with ACIS and will never choose to travel with another company. Highly recommend!

I've done three trips with ACIS and have always had an amazing experience. The customer service and tour guides are top notch. The food is always delicious, and they are great about accommodating dietary restrictions. The hotels are always centrally located. I have another trip planned with them and would highly recommend them to any teacher thinking about taking students abroad.
