Yasmin was SO amazing. I am the definition of type A, I never thought I’d feel comfortable and confident trusting someone with taking over my baby (the wedding). But Yasmin exceeded all my expectations. She handled everything, was so helpful, patient, on top of it and everything in between. She was always willing to jump on a call, quick to answer a text and help me with everything small and large. Leading up to the big day was a slice of cake with her in my corner and the wedding day was everything I could have dreamed of and more. She made it the best day ever, I am still getting compliments of how this was the best wedding my guests attended. She handled everything the day of and made sure I enjoyed my day. I cannot thank her and Amanda Blue events enough for being the best wedding purchase I made.

My husband Michael and I had our Wedding on Jan 22, 2022. During our first consultation at Canyonwood Ridge we INSTANTLY fell in love with the greenery, hill country views, reception space and BREATHTAKING natural lighting that entered the floor to ceiling windows within the chapel. We thought we wanted an outdoor wedding but that chapel was so beautiful that we chose to have the wedding ceremony indoors.
Michael and I knew we needed a wedding planner once we decided to have a Texas wedding while living overseas (I'm active duty Air Force). AMANDA HEPNER with @amandablueevents is the TRUTH. If you want your vision to come to life and want to spend your wedding day enjoying yourself, being present for every moment, and not worrying, HIRE AMANDA. After meeting with her she was extremely understanding of our situation (military couple moving out of the country) and went above and beyond to support us. She was exceptionally organized, well connected in the Austin Wedding community and introduced us to some of the best vendors who could make our vision come true. She front loaded a lot of our planning to ensure we had every key decision and memorable planning moment (food tasting, bridal fitting, etc) before we moved, then despite the 15 hour timezone difference, she would make herself available for virtual planning meetings when we were available.
One of the most amazing qualities about her, was how she can literally take your vision and turn it into a very real reality within your budget. We described to her how we wanted an “enchanted” “winter” “romantic” feeling that is a very elegant and elevated experience for our guest. She accomplished this and so much more. We received so many compliments from our guest and bridal party on just how beautiful the venue, the ceremony, the reception, the venue staff and just the entire day was. They described it as “magical” and the “best wedding they’ve ever attended.” Members in my bridal party described Amanda as “on point,” “amazing” and knowing her stuff. Amanda, dissolved any anxiety I experienced, whether it was finding a talented Make-up artist who was experienced with Black and Brown complexions when I didn’t feel represented in the community, incorporating EVERY specific detail from our vision board into our actual wedding, helping us guide guests in how to navigate the Austin area, despite Michael and I residing in another country, to researching options to keep guest safe during an OMICRON COVID surge in the middle of your wedding, Amanda handled it (seriously the list goes on). She TRULY went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us in every moment leading up to the wedding to even helping us preserve precious memorabilia afterwards. I get sad thinking that our experience with her as a planner has ended, but I am SO thankful that we were able to have the opportunity to do so. She truly is a transformative leader and gifted in the Wedding business. She is worth EVERYTHING and I can not recommend her ENOUGH!!!!

Amanda Blue Events provided us with an unforgettable experience for our wedding! We opted for their month-of service, and Amanda and her team truly felt like family. They were not only super professional but also incredibly caring, willing to do whatever it took to ensure our day was perfect.

The organizational tools and advice they provided were immensely helpful, and we felt well-supported throughout the entire process. On the day of our wedding, we had to make the call to move the ceremony inside just 30 minutes before it started due to rain. Amanda seamlessly executed our plan B, taking our decorations and setting everything up beautifully and quickly.

Thanks to Amanda and her team, we were always fed, had a drink in our hand, and stayed on schedule the entire evening. Despite the typical wedding stress, our wedding day was the most relaxed I’ve ever been, all because of their incredible support and expertise. I cannot express how grateful I am to have hired Amanda and her team as my wedding day coordinator. She truly went above and beyond, thinking of things I would have never considered and taking care of details so I could relax. She created the perfect timeline for us and our wedding day went seamlessly. She was incredibly professional but somehow still felt like a best friend making sure everything was perfect for us. From emailing all of our vendors to showing me how to hold my bouquet and fixing my veil before I walked down the aisle, Amanda handled it all. She made the planning process, vendor communication, and the weeks leading up to the big day SO incredibly stress-free and seamless. We used Amanda Blue Events for our recent wedding and they were AMAZING! We had Ethnee and Ally as our month-of-coordinators and they were truly angels. In the stressful stages of wedding planning, when I was feeling like I was missing a million small details, they sat with us and walked us through everything. The wedding day went perfectly and it was all because of their planning and coordination. While we did not use them for planning due to budget, the expenses we spent on their coordination package was WELL worth it. Everyone on the Amanda Blue Team was kind, helpful, and experienced. I would HIGHLY recommend booking them for coordination (at the very least) for peace of mind on your wedding day.

Leaving a review to reflect our disappointing experience with wedding coordination for our October 2023 wedding (not by mistake; I abbreviate my information on Google for privacy). The day-of went ok, but the lead-up caused A LOT of stress during an already stressful time. We were told we could expect dedicated coordination 6 weeks out from our wedding, but instead we needed to project manage every vendor and detail until, and on, our wedding day.

There was a decent amount of support day of, but explicit instructions were still ignored. I wish I could leave a better review, especially after how excited we were to work with y'all, but I can't recommend Amanda Blue Events with confidence to other couples who have a clear vision, respectable budget, and want to avoid feeling taken advantage of or neglected. We really appreciate the effort, but we were expecting more (financially, contractually, relationship-wise, etc.). Thanks for listening!
