You all are incredible up there! The staff were amazing, We loved every second! We loved learning about the dogs and their roles, and their history! Shout out to Guy though, he gets 6 stars from me! 🙂
Side note if anyone is concerned with price:
Taking excellent care of that many dog athletes costs a lot, among other operational things for those pups!! I would pay the price over and over again.

It was fun-ish. But not worth the amount of money spent. We booked a group tour and were paired with another mother and daughter we didn’t know. The dogs were pretty small and didn’t look to compare to Husky breed at all. Our tour guide was very nice and he was really sweet to the dogs. The place was pretty run down with only nasty overflowing ports potty to use outside. For the 1 hour group tour only 2 ppl in your group can ride at once while the others have to ride on a sleigh with the guide and wait their turn. The other group of 2 with us jumped on again for a second ride and knocked my son out of the expense of going. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time and money on this place

This place was so fun. The guides are all super kind and informative, and they make sure everyone has a good time. The dogs are sweeties and LOVE their jobs. It was a great experience I'd recommend to any local or tourist.

When you’re checking prices don’t plan on doing the group tour unless you’re bringing at least three people. I tried to reserve 2 spots on a group tour and they said it’s not worth their time to take 2 people out. Would have been $350 for 2 of us on the group tour. I think the $175 group tour advertisement is basically a bait and switch to get you to more for the tag sled tour. They said it would be worth their time to do that instead for only 2 of us and they’d even discount it to $250 each.

My nine-year-old son and I had an incredible time on our tour with our guide, Braun. Not only were our expectations met, they were far exceeded! Braun did a phenomenal job introducing us to every one of the dogs in his team, while also answering every question we had and providing great information on dogsledding in general. We even got to visit the kennel afterward to visit many of the 114 dogs. An important note is that, after looking at a few other companies before booking this tour, is that this is the only company that offered the tagsled option, allowing for a much greater personal experience. Not only would I recommend Alpine Adventures, we will most definitely be coming back again ourselves.

Probably the most accurate review you’ll find- it was a blast! The dogs were so happy and vocal only because they wanted to run so bad. They are treated well and are rewarded in the end. Our tour guide (Ty) was amazing and let us lead the pack. Is the property up to date? No because it’s a historical sight that they can’t do anything with, the buildings in particular. Are there an occasional skiddish dogs? Sure. But that’s anywhere. They take good care of those dogs so for all those poor reviews- open your eyes and realize many dogs are abused in the home outside of this dog sledding gig and NOW you’re concerned? There’s wild dogs in most countries that are skin and bones. They foster the dogs when they can’t run anymore, they don’t just kill them. Do your research and read the website. They’re not the huskies you think they are but I knew that based on their site. Very expensive I will say.. worth the money? Depending how you look at it. Most proceeds go to vet care, food, etc.

We had such a great time with the team at Alpine Adventures while on vacation. The staff was fantastic, the dogs were amazing and just an overall memorable time. We were given the opportunity to drive the lead sled as well as the rear sled and then swap between my wife and I (which was beyond what we had expected). A bucket list item checked off now. Visiting with the dogs in the kennel area was great as we got to love on those that weren't shy. A huge bonus for dog lovers like us. Definitely recommend.
