Aloft Boston Seaport has a modern, trendy vibe and a great location in the Seaport District, making it a convenient place to stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with a fun, contemporary aesthetic. The lobby and common areas also have a cool, social atmosphere, which adds to the experience.

That said, the price doesn’t quite match the accommodations. While the stay was enjoyable, the hotel feels overpriced for what you actually get—the rooms, while nice, aren’t particularly spacious or luxurious for the cost. The biggest downside, though, is the extremely high valet parking fee, which feels excessive even for Boston. If you’re driving, be prepared for a serious extra charge.

Best service from the front desk ever, Chanta was so friendly, professional and helpful! The bar was closed on arrival, but she let us know we could buy from their little fridge and hang out in the lounge which is what we did and it was perfect as we really didn’t want to Uber or walk anywhere. She was also such a delight to talk to!

I stayed at the Aloft Boston Seaport District for one night after a work trip in Europe. Mobile check-in was confirmed and I was able to bypass the front desk, but it wasn’t working. I am blaming it on jet lag and user error not the hotel. I went to the desk to get a key and reset the mobile key. Emmanuel’s welcome and check-in experience was exactly what I needed after a long flight! He got me squared away all while responding to my lounge, amenity questions with a pre-printed card! Super helpful as I would have forgotten. I came back down with other questions and he provided support with a smile. Thank you, Emmanuel.||Penny at WXYZ was running solo on a very busy night!! She always had a smile on her face, friendly and running the bar/restaurant like she’s been there for years. Honestly, I don’t know how she did it. She someone triplicated herself to provide excellent service for all dine-in guests. She’s a rockstar!||Lastly, I had the pleasure of speaking with Miguel upon checkout. I shared some feeeback and he helped direct me to the appropriate people. ||Other than my Lyft driver asking me if I could handle my 55lb+ suitcase, which was a resounding yes, I had a great experience at the Aloft Boston Seaport District 19-20Mar. Thank you to all staff members involved!

We stayed here for 3 nights . Beautiful hotel friendly helpful staff but you do need a car to stay here . Parking is on street with charges or approx $54 per night for valet. Or free on street for disabled . Staff were very helpful with this and everyone happy to talk. Resort fees 25$ per day but you receive 25$ credit per day for bar and restaurant/ shop . Really enjoyed our stay

Disappointing Customer Service Experience

Hello,

If you’re expecting any level of accommodation at this hotel, I highly recommend lowering your expectations. Let me share a brief story of my experience.

My wife’s birthday is coming up, and she is currently in Boston. I wanted to surprise her with some lobster rolls delivered to her room. Since I’m out of state, I was unable to complete the transaction through Uber Eats or any other delivery app. I called the front desk hoping for some guidance or assistance in arranging the delivery.

Between 7:07 PM and 7:43 PM, I made four phone calls, trying to find a solution. Each time, all I got was, “No, we can’t,” repeated over and over. Not a single attempt was made to help. The front desk staff was incredibly unhelpful, unfriendly, and lacked even basic customer service skills—they acted as if assisting a guest was an inconvenience rather than part of their job.

To make matters worse, none of the staff members even had the courtesy to provide their names. I can only assume they were either embarrassed by their lack of professionalism or simply didn’t care about their responsibilities.

When I mentioned that such poor service would lead to bad reviews, one of the front desk agents sarcastically stated that they “love bad reviews.” Well, here’s mine—as requested.

I expected much more from the Marriott Corporation and Bonvoy. This level of service is completely unacceptable and a disappointment coming from such a well-known brand.
