I mean it's not a great extravagant falls or anything but it's right along the bike path and walking path which is fantastic as it strolls through the woods. Definitely a high part of my morning to take a walk on the path.

Very nice trails, bridges & historic areas. There are some areas of caution which aren't marked. There are some cliff dropoff areas near the path. I wouldn't allow children to bike or hike to far ahead or behind.

This is a beautifully maintained and enjoyable walk. We brought our pups and they really liked all the sniffing sites, lol. My only complaint is seeing “pick up dog waste” signs and yet there are no dog poo bags present. We always bring our own, but it certainly helps to have some readily available for those who may have run out. I look forward to going back soon!

Very intereating historic place with information to learn about this old dam and the events that took place a century ago.
If you like to enjoy reading this place a couple of posts narrating history with old pictures and describing the original structures bult at this place.
It is interesting to see various remanents of the rail and the water tower.
The place is very well maintained and is closed to several hotel in the area.
It is even possible to walk through the trail to get to some of the closest hotels.
From here you can follow the trail to and old bridge on one direction and to the other you can get to the next park near the football stadium
Worthwhile.

Really cool little historical place that’s very hidden but easy to get to if you’re shopping. There’s not much history in town, but here can teach you more about the railroads that defined communities here in the late 1800s. Had no idea Allen was named after “Ebenezer Allen.”

Very beautiful scenery I had family photos taken on the side where there is the walk across bridge very beautiful for photos. We were able to walk up a path to the railroad track and take pictures on that as well.

Beautiful sights of railroad tracks aside the pathway of the old dam, one can easily capture the historical significance of the area. Park is very clean and well thought out. There is no place for kids to play but there’s lots of room for adventure. I recommend to those looking for a leisure walk or to bike.
