We had the pleasure of cruising around the lake with Capt David himself and we couldn't be happier with the experience. David was also terrific about working with us when we had some schedule changes and made sure to get us on the fish quickly! We were pulling in 25+" stripers within a few minutes of hitting the water on their great boat.

What a day on Lake Martin with Alex City Guide Service Lake Martin! They really know how to find some big ones, and today was no exception. We were reeling in Stripes and Largemouth all day long. Have been stripe fishing with my son on Lake Martin for about a year with hit or miss success. Decided to book a trip with Alex City Guides based off their reviews and local reputation. Communication with Captain David was excellent, and with several guides available found a good day that worked. Our guide, Alex was just what we needed — friendly and knowledgeable. We got our first fish a few mins into getting a line wet and ended up with 32 total in the boat, with 12lbs being the largest. Excellent trip and exactly what was advertised.

Just went on another successful striper trip with Alex City Guide Service. Captain David and his crew are the best of the best for striper fishing on Lake Martin. I can’t count on fingers and toes how many trips I have fished with these guys. They never disappoint. I’m a Lake Martin local, and David Hare has, without a doubt, spent more time on our lake than any person living, or that helped with the construction of our lake. And he is THE local expert on striper fishing, and doesn’t mind sharing his expertise with us locals that fish with him. These guys fish on their off days to ensure that when you get on one of their boats, you will come back to the dock with fish.
