I went out with them on a tour and took my 9 year old with me. It was a beautiful day out, saw seals and otters and some beautiful wilderness in a way not many do. My boy loved it, and it was a very comfortable trip. Duncan is a great guide, knowledgeable, and safety oriented. Family friendly, few hour trip with plenty of time for other adventures. Well worth it and highly recommend. 10/10

Perfect! Amazing to glide along the mudflats and onto the water with ease. I was mesmerized by the ever changing landscape. Duncan is a skilled captain who is knowledgeable, fun, and safety oriented.

Michael was waiting for us at the pick up spot. We enjoyed the local history and stories that he shared along the route to the airboat.

Unexpected perks: The windshield on the airboat was a huge advantage with the wind and with the rain (we were lucky; just a little rain on the return trip). The ride was smooth and comfortable.

What an awesome experience with Duncan up the Fox river on his Ranger Airboat. We cruised into Homer & took a Tender at 8am, his dad, Michael, picked us up right at the harbor ramp at 915, exactly the time he told us. Perfect transport all the way up the spit, through Homer, to the "end of the road", onto the beach & Duncan was waiting for us with the airboat. During that very cool drive, we saw 2 moose (one had 2 calves!), a hare and a perfect view of the bay & glaciers. Once on the airboat, Duncan's expert driving put us at ease since this was our first airboat ride! Saw eagles, about 50 harbor seals & pups, breathtaking scenery, & we stopped a couple of times & he told us about native plants & huge bear, wolf, moose tracks in the sand. This was an exilerating excursion & must do. We were about 10 miles up the river, total wilderness & breathtaking. Pickup & drop off was the easiest on our 28 day cruise to 15 ports in Alaska. They take care of you!

A good friend was visiting from out of town and we took a ride on the airboat with Duncan up the Sheep river. I'm a local and this was one awesome & unique experience, nothing else like it is available to bring you out to this area! It was a beautiful day and we got up & close with seals, eagles, & other animals up the river. Great experience, my friend was thrilled!

Incredible experience exploring the remote Alaska rivers on an airboat! The airboat was a blast and traveling to areas where only sea life and wild life (no people) existed was an experience our family will never forget. Our captain/guide, Duncan, was knowledgeable and awesome with the adults and very engaging with our 7-year old. The trip included glaciers, wild flowers, seals, beautiful Eagles, various other birds, fish, etc. We found lots of moose tracks but didn’t locate “Bullwinkle”. The trip ended with a donut in the mud offering a 720 degree view of beautiful Alaska and lots of laughter from everyone on the boat. We highly recommend family owned, Alaska Airboat Adventures for anyone wanting to experience the wild, remote rivers of Alaska!

Very cool experience- Duncan and Michael were so friendly and knowledgeable. Didn’t see a TON of wildlife, but you can’t control Mother Nature. We got to see a moose calf running on shore, that was awesome! Definitely cool to see nature in a different way than most can say they have.

Man, it was such a great experience. We were the first tour of the season. Got to see lots of tracks and moves crossing the river. It was just a beautiful time friendly staff. He was so worth every penny. Can't wait to do it again

Alaska Airboat Adventures was a fun experience we are still talking about it. Duncan is a great guide! The airboat ride is unique, we went up the Sheep River, on our trip we floated among a large group of seals. Very interesting listening to the seals bark and having them swim up to the boat. We also saw 28 eagles in one location. The ride up the river is thrilling but feels safe at the same time. The motor-head in me appreciated the mechanics of the airboat. This is a unique trip unlike anything else in Homer, Alaska.
