Very beautiful capitol building. Saw it at dark. Can’t wait to see it during daylight. The columns are stunning and balconies, oh my. There is some stained glass too. Beautiful monuments all around too.

Spent 30 minutes doing the self-guided tour with the pamphlet. As others have said, more of a museum piece as it is not active with the house, senate and judiciary meeting in other buildings. Have been to nearly 20 state and provincial capitol buildings and this is at the bottom of the list. Very plain, the grounds lack any real gardens or statuary, no information highlighting the state or directing you on how to learn more, no website info or signage directing you to the entrance and in need of some upkeep (plaster on the floor, doors split, etc.). But still, a good visit and glad to have stopped by but would rate a 3.7.

A bit of construction going on. No clear signage for entrance or activities. I was in the area and made an impromptu stop so I didn’t have time to look on the Internet for what might be going on. Had there been informal outside signs then I might’ve stayed longer and given a better review. Wow, I’m just looking at the next questions on this survey and noted that there were tickets to purchase A tour Everyone is not of the electronic generation so outside signage would be a plus especially for those passing by or in town for a short while.

I took my SGA students down for a tour. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, and the process of planning was simple. Parking is an issue. I had to park my bus a half mile away and walk back and forth for my students' needs. Directions to the proper entrance were a bit vague.

It was a nice visit! We got to see several rooms in the Capitol building. The landscaping was beautiful since the camillias were in full bloom. It was also great to see the moon tree. Good visit!

I went on a holiday, and it was empty, which was great because I could park close and walk around. It’s impressive to see such a large construction, and the architecture is beautiful

They give you a map when you go in so you can take a self-guided tour of the capitol. I took a look at the grounds afterwards too and all the statues.

Wow so much history here, met Tim Lennox who was kind enough to show and tell many of the historical events that happened here. Georgina was so nice to help us in the gift shop. We got so many nice gifts at wonderful low prices. Great adventure today.
