I would give 1,000 stars if I could. Our family of 3 did a 3 day 2 night trip and absolutely loved it. We had a blast. We recently took a one night trip with someone else and it was a nightmare. Sam completely changed our minds. Because of our bad prior experience we were a little worried, but wanted to try again. The mules and horse were very well behaved and friendly. The amount of care, time, and training definitely showed. Sam was a great cook and the food was delicious. He went above and beyond to make sure we comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Wayne and John were our guides for our daily rides. They were very knowledgeable of the area and answered each and every one of our questions. They made sure we were completely comfortable in the saddle and with our animals. They were all very great people. We enjoyed their company and spending time with them around the campfire. The communication before our trip was excellent. They were very patient with my son. We would highly recommend them in every way. We wish we could have stayed longer. We have nothing but positive things to say and we can’t wait to go back and ride with them again.

We had such a great time on our three-hour ride! Sam was an amazing guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even better. The horses were calm and well-behaved, and the shady trails made for a peaceful, relaxing ride with beautiful views throughout. We can’t wait to come back!

I never leave reviews but this ticked me off. Me and my husband was on our honeymoon we thought this would be super fun and tried to book a ride. key word is TRIED I went on their website and it said call to book a ride so that’s what I TRIED to do I called 7 times (throughout the day not all at once) and never got one person to answer the very last time I decided to give up I finally left a message and they have yet to even call me back I am super disappointed because I was so excited to go but never even got the chance

Highly recommend Alabama Horseback Adventures! 🐴 Sam was our guide and he was great! I can’t say enough good things about him! We so enjoyed his company along the trail. My husband and I did the 3 hour trip and it was wonderful. Can’t wait to go again!

We found this company via Google and so glad we did. I spoke with Sam who was able to get us on a 3 hr ride the very next day. Wayne and John were amazing guides. We went on a 3 hr ride thru Guntersville State Park. The pictures just do not do it justice. My mule was Ernest and he was kind and gentle. (Yeah.....I thought he was a horse at first, I apologized to him and we got along great after that.) 1.5 hours up the mountain, a 15 minute break with water and a great view of Guntersville Lake, and another 1.5 hours down. This was only my 3rd time on a horse (yes Ernest your a mule I remember!) It was a great experience. Wayne and John are so knowledgeable, they are local men who ride every single weekend. Couldn't ask for better service or adventure.

We had a great time with experienced and knowledgeable guides, Sam and Mr Boyd. Beautiful sights! Adventurous trail, snacks and lunch on the 6 hour ride. A wonderful and safe ride!
