Spoke to person on phone to schedule a Belt replaced. Was told they would send someone in the afternoon. Spoke to same guy after lunchtime and was told he was on the way. About an hour later I recieved a call from a lady in the office telling me the “Boss Man” told them no more calls. After leading me on all day. Horrible way to do business. Would NOT recommend them at all! Please go somewhere else!

We stopped at a gas station where we ended up noticing car issues. these were nice people to stop and help us and take care of us. The mechanic stopped what he as doing to help us and fixed the problem immediately. Can not say how much I truly appreciate how professional and good these mechanics are here! I feel blessed

Same as others, we had an issue with our tow dolly, ball about to fall off and we limped in for instant service with Kevin. Super nice, southern hospitality at its finest!

We was broke down and strand in the middle of now where and we called around and Alabama Heavy Duty Truck and Equipment was the only people that answered. Kevin stayed up with us until we got a tow to the shop and he didn’t finish our truck until it was ready to get back on the road. The people around this shop were very friendly and helped us to get something to eat and continued with the great hospitality. Thanks Again Kevin!

Having diesel mechanical issues contacted this shop that was very acknowledgeable Of some of the issues at hand, and stated that they could take care of it. This is our 2nd day standing in a motel. Still patiently waiting said that it would be Maybe at 5 o'clock 11/8/2023.

I had to have my truck towed to Alabama Heavy Duty Diesel because of a rearend issue. Valerie. Cody and Anthony were all professional and courteous. I was expecting the job to take a lot longer than it. Cody and Anthony had me up and running in two days. I would absolutely get a load in this direction to have them do any work on my truck in the future. They by far exceeded my expectations with the work performed and the cost of it. I will definitely do business with them again!!!

I highly recommend Alabama Heavy Duty! They’re responsive, honest, and efficient. My truck wouldn’t start after waking up from a nap. I was parked at the Walmart in Troy, AL, stuck!

One company came out and charged $95 for the service call and $95 for one hour of trying to jump my good batteries after I explained that I thought it was the starter. And they charged for mileage. The total was over $200. And the company was Tyler Transport, LLC. They’re a trucking company. THEY ARE NOT A SERVICE COMPANY. I don’t know why they’d send someone out to check my batteries when I told her I thought it was the starter (since I’m no mechanic)

The short of the story is that I should have called Alabama Heavy Duty from the start. They replaced my bad starter with a new one in less than 1 hour. Three guys came to fix one truck. EFFICIENCY IS THE NAME OF THIS GAME!! Time is money for a trucker, and they know what they’re doing.

Kevin was very kind and knowledgeable.
Give these guys a call in the beginning and it will save you a ton of time. Don’t get ripped off like I did by the trucking company who doesn’t have the parts you need.
