A 5 star resort feel. Well staffed, CLEAN, peaceful, quiet and relaxing place to visit and even stay the night at the lodge. We look visiting this jem. If your looking to get away from the noise, this should be your first choice. Grounds are very well maintained and facilities are top rate.

Just got home from a school sponsored field trip with my 6th grade boy. The kids had a blast. Rain didnt stop our fun activities. The staff was so nice and very knowledgeable. The food was good and the kitchen staff went out of their way for a very picky eater. Highly recommend this place. Even thinking about doing summer camp this year.

Came here for a 4 day retreat with my quilt guild. The meeting room was very nice. They had plenty of tables and chairs. We stayed in the hotel rooms. Very basic but clean. Would recommend for a weekend retreat.

Alabama 4H Center is an awesome place is relaxing, just got there for my son's school 3 day(april 10-12) field trip. It was very nice they had very nice program for them.

This is NOT, a place for fishermen to stay while fishing a tournament on Lay Lake. Rooms are OK, staff seem to be very nice but no good parking close to rooms. Boat parking is very limited and is too far away. Late night noise level is off the chart for people needing to sleep. Other guest have NO respect for those of us trying to sleep. Loud noises including opening and shutting room door throughout the night into the early morning.

If you are a fishermen you may want to stay at another place. If you don’t mind staying up late and not sleeping in, this place maybe OK for you. Sorry to be so negative but that’s why these reviews are posted. You are expected to be honest.

This is an excellent place. Top-flight amenities, helpful staff, and beautiful grounds. I do have to admit, however, that the van emblazoned with the words "Herp Journey" gave me a moment of pause until I realized they were talking about herpetology and not herpes.

Clean rooms, pretty good food in the dining halls, beautiful grounds with lots of stuff to do.
