A very eye opening experience! Love the neon tube art! The kids enjoyed but found it hard to appreciate. Hahaha! 20 minute buzz around will show you everything. Not ready for the 'All genders' bathroom sign. Good visit overall.

The Akron Art Museum was the perfect wedding venue. My wife and I chose them as our venue in July ‘23, and were married in September of ‘24. Once we chose them as our venue, they gave lists of preferred caterers and recommended vendors in the area, which made our planning process a lot easier. There were some staffing changes because we had a long engagement, but Ellie, Cydney, and Becca were all wonderful to work with as events managers and made the transition in positions extremely smooth for us. Guests LOVED the museum, as the ceremony was in the garden, and then they were able to hang out on the terrace and explore the exhibits during cocktail hour. The lobby was a gorgeous venue for dinner and dancing, and our entrance on the grand staircase was unforgettable. We truly could not have chosen a better venue. Thank you so much to all the events staff at the Art Museum for making our wedding day so wonderful!! (photos by Jessica Lee Photography)

Akron Art Museum really exceeded my expectations! The two featured exhibits were phenomenal! I appreciated the info on the walls and the audio that played when the viewer stands in a certain marked spot in front of each art piece.

I highly recommend the museum - fabulous gem in downtown Akron.

The Akron Art Museum is NE Ohio's best wedding venue! Every aspect of our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Ellie and her team. Ellie was super responsive to all of our questions while during the planning process, and her and her team ensured our event was executed flawlessly. The lobby and gardens are so beautiful and picture perfect, you hardly need to decorate! Our guests also loved getting to view the galleries during cocktail hour. Using the Akron Art Museum for your wedding, or next event, will truly wow your guests!! I would highly recommend having your next event here as the AAM team will go above and beyond to make your day so special!

The Akron Art Museum is a must-see in downtown Akron 🤩

From Keith Haring, to the latest "Glow" exhibition, it's a great place to spend time with family or friends checking out some eye catching collections! And it's FREE on Thursdays (when they're also open late) if you want to stop in and see what it's about with no commitment.

What a wonderful first experience!! My 8 year old loves art and not only did he get to go for free, they also gave him a goodie bag with a t-shirt inside. Now we are planning to make it a monthly thing..

It was great. What a thrilling bunch of exhibits! The Pink Q is super welcoming. Then the Girl w the Glob and the picture with the ice cream cone inferno. The two exhibits with the decorated sitting areas blew mind. Never seen that in an art museum before. And all those dead peacocks that died of old age, like the Baby Boomers.
