We loved our private manatee snorkel with Captain Don and Captain Elisa at the end of January.

We've done an experience like this before, and it was great, but Captain Don and Captain Elisa really delivered the best snorkel we've had.

Their vessel is sturdy, safe, and unfussy. I appreciated the changing area onboard and the warm beverage after our close encounters with those beautiful manatees.

We think that an earlier morning tour like this one is best. Water less murky with not a lot of wake.

Air Tank Divers really appreciates the manatees in their natural world, and they passed that respect and joy onto us.

The only minor complaint is the smoking. I'm pretty asthmatic but the open window at the back of the boat gave me enough fresh air to get by 🙂

I think if you have any issues with smoke, just let them know, and they'll accommodate you. These folks are the best.

This is a great tour. Reasonably priced, and highly recommended. I have been on this tour several times over the past few years because it is always an amazing experience.

Awesome experience! This company is owned by good people who know the area well and care about the manatees. They were very accommodating for scheduling and they have coffee/hot chocolate on the boat as a bonus. If you are looking for a laidback and off the beaten path experience (away from all the crowds at crystal river), then this is the manatee experience this is for you. Saw a ton of manatees and basically had the whole place to ourselves!

Had a magical time swimming with the manatees! Capt. Don knew just where to find them and was very knowledgeable about manatees and how to safely swim with them. I spent 3 hours in the water and it felt like 5 minutes. Such a wonderful experience. Something I will never forget!!

Captain Don and Elisa were awesome! There weren't a lot of manatees around due to the weather but they were up front and honest about that before we booked our trip. We decided to go anyway and I'm so happy we did! They really care about their guests and the manatees. They took the time to make sure we got the best experience possible and I'm so grateful for that. Being in the water with such beautiful creatures is an experience I'll never forget!

Air Tank Divers is the best! I had previously done snorkeling tours with 3 other tour companies, but once I discovered ATD, I’ve stuck with them. Capts. Don and Elisa are very knowledgeable about manatees and because they keep their groups small, you kind of feel as though you’re on a private tour. You get to spend a lot of time in the water, and when you get cold, there’s hot chocolate. An added perk is that Capt. Don will keep you entertained with lots of funny stories and Capt. Elisa will take pictures of you while you’re in the water. ATD is really an awesome tour company.

Great tour! This was better than any experience on Crystal River. Homosassa River is much less busy. We saw LOTS of manatees and stayed in the water as long as we wanted. Would strongly recommend using this company. Captain is very knowledgeable and cares about aquatic life.
